It could be Sam or Brans story since Bran is the 3 eyed raven who knows all the history. I agree with you though I think it's Sam writing the story.

I have no idea. Probably just carry a torch or dragon glass sword around and kill things. Brans dog tried but didn't work out too well.

Jamie seems like a solid choice.
They closed out his redemption story.

I’m imagining in today’s political climate that the only safe characters are those that diversify the overly white male kingdom: Brean, Any Unsullied, the women, etc.

I thought for the longest that they lose this fight but now I think they win. But the Dothraki and unsullied are pretty much wiped out.

Brienne wouldn’t surprise me at all.
It doesn’t take a genius to see that the writers set that show up the way they did so as to wrap up some characters story arcs.
