She’s gross. Can’t believe you think she’s hot. Wendy is much hotter

FIFY, Wendy has proven time after time she is a selfish bitch. I doubt she really cares about the kids seeing as she was the one who made sure they lost their innocence so early and constantly trying to play them against Marty.

She sure as shite proved she does not care about Marty unless it suits her and she is willing to stab him in the back at almost every turn.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned her basically signing Marty’s death warrant after he was kidnapped. She is really a miserable count. When I think of shows with miserable leading ladies her and Carmela Soprano take the cake.

Just finished, and I also think Wendy sucks. They could have kept it smaller and manageable but her crazy bitch living out personal drama bullshite is the reason they will all either die or go to jail.

I was rooting for Ben to die the moment he was introduced. Great acting by that guy. I don't hold his death against Wendy. He always wanted to die, probably even from childhood. Wendy basically just allowed him to die by removing herself as his safety net.

Wyatt and Darlene are gross but kind of funny, like when the guy unloading the heroin seeds pauses to stare at them while they're making out. Aside from that, I'm thinking it might just be an endgame plot device in which Wyatt marries Darlene and inherits the farm when she gets killed.

I don;t think they can drag this out for two more seasons without it getting stupid. If they wrap it up well in one more season, I'd say it can be considered a top show of the last decade.

Just finished. Best season yet. I know season 1 was great, but this one was better. I hope they keep this going.

Yeah, I looked him up expecting him to be mid 40's. Laura Linney is 56, after all. Figured he would be closer to her age.

I don't think Wendy survives. In fact how can Marty just walk away from all this in say season 5 and just go back to accounting in Chicago?

Even the kids know and are a part of the operation, but their obvious out is the cartel war. If Navarro gets killed, they have a mausoleum full of cash and assets they can sell or even burn, if they like. Frank and Frank-less Frank will probably have to be killed. There's no peaceful resolution to that (if I were Frank-less, I'd go full kamikaze), but they seem to all be consolidating with Darlene.

So Navarro gets killed off and there's a final war with Darlene/Frank. I guess that's 2 seasons, but if they do it all in one final, awesome season, it could be a top 5 show of the last 10 years. Plus, Bateman would be available for other projects sooner, while he's still red hot from the acclaim this is getting.

This is why I love the scene where they go off on each other in front of the therapist. Everything Marty says is right on the money.

Only thing Wendy can come up with in response is that Marty is jealous. The only reason this is even in her head is because Helen, who wants to get rid of Marty, is manipulating her and told her Marty was just jealous of her.

There are people out there who think she is this badass female character, and I don’t get it. Seems like every decision she makes gets them deeper in the shite. Everything she does is purely to satisfy her own ego.

I disagree. I think he looks about 38 in the show.

I finished it today. Ruth was my favorite character in the first season other than Bateman but I dreaded seeing her face and hearing her speak this season. Was she like this before and I just forgot or has Garner and the writers jumped the shark?

I think she just got dominated by better actors.

People hate Wendy...but man Laura Linney kills it. That scene where she pulls over and is hysterical....thats phenomenal acting.

The actor that plays Ben kills "vulnerably manic".

Darlene....im not convinced that she isnt an actress and just wandered onto set and they just rolled the camera.

That last scene between Ruth and Wendy, wow, did Ruth just lose all over the place. Wendy was letting her have it and Ruth just looked at like a moron and then over-the-top "dude walked" out of the building. (I just looked down and saw where you said literally this exact thing....left it in because we mind melded so well).

Not getting the Ruth hate. She is awesome.

Also, episode 9 was perhaps the most riveting episode of the entire series. Incredible acting.

The only thing I wanted was to see some action between the brother and that fricker who showed up at the restaurant in that episode.

The brother was strong as hell and I feel it would’ve been really emotional to see him best that guy physically, but get killed in a Saving Private Ryan type scene

I loved this season and that was the best episode of the series for me. I have a bi-polar kid so it hit even harder. That actor really nailed that impulsive, ADHD bi-polar type. When it’s bad, they’re just constantly going and the waves of mania tortures them.
