So Navarro gets killed off and there's a final war with Darlene/Frank.

What about the FBI? Do they forget about all this?

My son walked in the living room last night when they had him onscreen from far away. He asked if that was John Wick. I see the resemblance now.

It would seem that Navarro killing Helen almost necessitates offing her remaining family.

He was already suspicious of what her husband knew and having her daughter spending time in Missouri would have his paranoia instincts running wild,

I don't understand why Marty allowed Navarro's thugs to lead him away when there were several hundred people watching including a bevy of FBI agents. Just make a loud scene of the kidnapping and take your chances.

Ben appeared to be off his meds during the opening scene of the season when he severely beat a man for no reason. Which would make you wonder how he landed a teaching position.

If we start with incredulity about this we can pick apart so many other things. I thought in order for Marty to ever get out of this he had to cooperate with the Feds. He almost did. Question is who is going ton come out of the back end of this show? I predict no way, no how Wendy gets out alive. Maybe the Byrde family goes extinct before this is over.

Do we know what the kids in class were looking at on the phones when Ben flipped out in the first episode?
Really liked the Ben character early on- he was fun. Knew from the beginning it wouldn’t end well for him.
The writers are great on this series. I despised Darlene in the first 2 seasons, but I kinda liked her here.
Linney is a good actress. For some reason, she always bugs me. Just seems about 2 steps from crazy always. In Truman Show, in Frasier, etc.
Bateman does a great muted, understated job in this roll.

Also think it’s funny that the rift between an uneasy alliance b/w Helen and the Byrdes, and all of the fallout- was basically due to Ben wanting to get laid. Pussy wins again.

hat actor that played Ben - Tom Pelphrey - deserves every award imaginable. He was incredible all season.

His portrayal of Ward Meachum was the only good thing about Iron Fist

While i was happy to see Helen get her head blown off, i'm really cheering for the same to happen to Wendy. I can't stand her character.

It's easy to see how her decisions and motives are selfish.
It's also easy to see how just about everything that goes through Marty's head and his decisions are focused on keeping his family safe and alive.

Of all the women on this show, if i had to pick two that i didn't want to see their tits, it would have been Darlene and Ruth. Thanks Netflix.

I just finished it and it was amazing. It took me a minute to remember where I new the brother from. Yes I watched all of the iron fist

Took me a couple episodes to figure it out. I didn't want to search for it and have anything spoiled.

The guy that played Ben also did a good job of playing a former white supremacist turned deputy on “Banshee.”

Navarro whacked Helen because her motives were personal. He kept Marty because he's just trying to get his family safe. Navarro is a family man and sees the value in Marty's motivation.

Navarro can't whack Wendy. She's plot armored in full.

Enjoyed the season, but my god there were some goofy plot points. the casino scam was awful and didnt seem feasible. Reminded me of the magnet scene in Breaking Bad. Same goes for Cartel guys kidnapping Marty in plain site. That Casino has the fewest number of cameras in the history of casinos

I thought the same thing. They can do better than that.

The phone call from Wendy telling him that she gave the order to kill her own brother sealed Helen's fate, imo. Navarro knew the Byrd's would do whatever it takes to remain in business and loyal.

Helen, on the other hand, seemed like she was trying to get way more involved than just being his lawyer. I think her going behind the Byrd's back while Wendy is ordering a hit on her brother was all he needed to see.

I just hope we don't have to wait another 1000 months for season 4.

With the limited vocabulary she uses it must be easy to learn the lines.

Just started episode 7. I despise the Ben Character. He has just been annoying

Wyatt and Darlene is absolutely disgusting

Wish Ruth would beat the frick out Frank Jr again

ETA: Wendy is a complete bitch but 100x better than Skylar White

From someone whose mother is Bi-polar. BEN and the mom from Shameless are the most accurate depictions of someone with that disorder really poorly managed.
