Other than RDJ, most of the MCU was relatively unknown at the time they were cast.

Yes, she caught MY attention before but don't tell me she was every bit as big a star after Ironman 2 as she was before.

Holy moving goalposts batman. Also, there's no way to prove your last point, but I would argue she was just as well known ironman as after. She was on SNL for gods' sake, every single male knew who she was well before she became black widow.

Still not current day Ryan Gosling level known.

Again, moving the goalpost from:

Why don't you actually decide your point before posting?

Relatively..

I swear some people just wanna argue here for no damn reason whatsoever. I said what I said I’m standing by it. I agree with it or not I don’t care.

But they weren’t. They were all pretty known and recognizable other than maybe Hemsworth. Now if you would have said “not as big as a star as Gosling is now other than RDJ” then you’d be correct and have a point.

Pot have you met kettle? You could have ended this by saying you misspoke after being proven wrong but dug your heels in and chose to argue and defend your statement for the sake of arguing and defending.

guess Brie Larson was 'known', having been a actor since she was a kid

That and winning a silly Oscar for best actress lol.

Your opinions on film and the movie industry are unsubstantiated and lack knowledge of said subjects. Please stop it with the shitty gatekeeping.

Actually they don’t. I’ve never claimed to be a cinephile so maybe that’s a you problem? Yes, Brie won an Oscar for an artsy film that was no precursor to anything superhero related, but you see it as you want.

Most of them were not "relatively" unknown tho. Idk why it's so hard to admit you were wrong

Because I wasn’t. The term relatively seems to be tripping you up. I didn’t say ALL were complete unknowns.

I’m done over explaining now.

No you said most were. Which is not true either.

It's ok to admit you're wrong. Most people here seem to already think you're a bit of an idiot

Yeah, after Project Hail Mary, Gosling is in desperate search for a win.

The answer is Ed Norton for the first hulk movie. He was well established before the movie. He only made it one movie but it's part of the MCU

You argue ad nauseum on this board and never admit to being wrong. Thats a you problem.

You dont like the movie industry and you dont like the actors, so your takes are all based around shitting on them. Its very obvious.

I don’t like the woke movie industry, taking stories and repurposing them for current day messaging. I’ve only said this about 10 quadrillion times, but you keep pretending I never say it.

Why is that?

That has literally been done since the dawn of cinema.

You are totally clueless.

Except it hasn’t. Woke messaging has only been going on for like 10 to 15 years. The new DEI rules of Hollywood have only been in effect for about few years. 2024 being the first year the academy enforced them.

It’s weird that you pretend it’s been going on forever.
