Rumor: Disney considering splitting Episode 9 into two movies

Its already looking like it will be a looooong movie so its possible.
The entire 1st movie has to be amazing tho for it to work. JJ has a lot of work to do but I have faith.

Biggest thing that needs to happen is that Snoke is alive and knows the secret to undying life that Darth Plageius wanted to learn but never could. Only Darth Vitiate ever truly achieved it. Hell make Snoke Vitiate himself if you need to.
Then it makes perfect sense that Snoke allowed Kylo to kill him. Snoke knew that his death would forever cement Kylo in the dark side. Now with avatar of darkness (Kylo) and the avatar of light (Rey) he can finally become the prime force user that Luke was so obsessed about.

It not only failed to advance the story, it killed the franchise as a whole. It would be as if the owners handed off Secretariat to another jockey after he won the Kentucky Derby, and the new jockey just decides to shoot the horse in the head during the Preakness.

Usually a money grab is for a successful one-two punch of movies.
I think this is more of Disney finally realizing how badly they fricked up and how badly Rian screwed the story. I mean essentially Rian set the Rebellion back tenfold and the First Order has lost half of its forces. The story is in shambles.
