I hated TLJ but I love Star Wars and I will be there opening weekend seeing the next film in a Dolby theater and so will the vast majority of fans

Well these white males gave Disney a big kick in the balls with Solo, so let them keep at it and make this franchise entirely irrelevant, where kids 10 years from now won't understand what the fuss was about.

This is the best way to ensure the death of the franchise, or at the least, the furthest most erosion and marginalization of the franchise.
Star Wars needs to be killed. It’s for the best at this point.

They lost their big base that was supposed to keep the rest of the galaxy in check (which was made useless in this movie due to hyperdrive weaponry) and seemingly just about all of their Star Destroyers were destroyed. This is honestly a low estimation of the 7th Fleet total complement. This fleet escaped almost completely intact into the Unknown Regions where the The First Order is based.
The total size of The First Order is still unknown. Its possible they have several fleets hanging around in wild space awaiting orders from the supreme leader. And thats not even counting the Chiss Ascendancy.

Then where were they during TFA? My understanding was they were a fringe group on the outskirts of the Galaxy. That’s basically what they told the audience.
And let’s say you’re right that we’ve only seen 5% of their forces: why would the remaining 95% give into Kylo Ren? There’s no major generals that wouldn’t say “frick that emo bitch. Just don’t answer his phone calls and send those new hyperdrive weaponry that no one until yesterday had ever thought of to kill him.”
