I really like it. Hearing "Pig tits" and the student still calling him "Grg" makes me laugh every time. My husband watches it with me (so he doesn't hate it), but doesn't like it as much as I do. Greg is a more competent Michael Scott in this and I'm enjoying Carrell in the role.

Wrapped this up last night finally.
It was relatively lightweight and forgettable, but an enjoyable watch.
McGinley, as usual, kills.

Agree. I am actually loving this show and think it's really good. I almost bumped this thread Monday morning but figured I was one of the only ones still watching.

This season isn't over though. Looks like we are getting 9 episodes (fricking BOOOOOOO), and the finale is next week.
There is absolutely no reason a half-hour show like this with no huge CGI/SFX should be limited to 9 fricking episodes in a season. That's bullshite.
But yeah, Carrell is great and McGinley is fantastic per usual. But even the other characters have sort of grown on me. At this point, the only one I actually hate is the daughter, and even with her I kinda get her struggles and where she's coming from. But I still hate her.

Oh, shite! I thought that was the finale. Not sure what is left to wrap up.
Jamie Tart is the only character I don't enjoy.

I like this show much more than I thought I would. It's weird but there isn't one character that I truly hate. Except for maybe the drunk hockey coach.
I don't mind the daughter. She's definitely going through some stuff. In some instances, I think she might be kind of hot.
You would think that I hated the pregnant girlfriend's roommate but I like her. I like how she lays into the english guy.
9 episodes is too few.

What show do you compare this to? I felt like everybody I know has said it’s good not great.

I have enjoyed it enough. Like you say, good boy great. I compare it to Man on the Inside (recent Netflix Ted Danson show).

Anybody watch the last episode? I really enjoyed this show

I was hoping this was an Alice In Chains documentary and am heavily disappointed.

Me and the wife really enjoyed this season. Coach Taylor’s wife taking the Dean’s job is going to be an odd dynamic. I hope his character stays around because he is my favorite character.
I went in very cautious since I knew the show took place on a Liberal Arts college campus but it has been a pleasant surprise. I like how they made the blonde chick so over the top woke it’s ridiculous. English guy is a douche and I’m glad he ended up with nobody. Hot Asian chick’s roommate is also on Hacks and is good in both roles. Basically plays the same character in both shows.

I like how Rooster ends up in the peer review committee regularly from something that he said. And its things not that bad like telling the hockey team they are playing like little girls.
You knew that they were building up to the ex getting the dean's job. Not sure how that's going to work out

It's the best new show on television IMO. I think it is really, really good. That may be because I like Steve Carrell so much, but whatever...he's really good in this as well.
And honestly I think everyone on the show is good. The daughter grew on me (even though I still hate her). The husband is a douche, but he plays it SO perfectly. McGinley is awesome per usual. Cristle is great. Tommy is great, as are his ancillary friends. The black chick is not great, but solid at least. The mom is good.
Basically the worst part of the show (outside of the daughter) is the Asian student that got knocked up and her roommate. But both of them grew on me as the season went on.
I had forgotten about Rooster's ex possibly going for the President job, so they actually did a good job of masking that and it actually caught me off guard when it happened.
Archie ending up with neither one was great.
The cop is absolutely awesome in every scene he's in.
I wasn't a fan of Cristle and the alcoholic hockey coach being together, but I get it.
I did actually like that they didn't force the relationship with Rooster and Dylan, and how after the first episode or two they sort of ditched it completely. Obviously they will end up together if the show goes on for multiple seasons though.
But this show actually comes off as pretty heartfelt, with the comedy flowing throughout, which is nice.
They've earned a fan out of me, and I'll watch episodes as long as they pump them out.

same here, CoCo. I wasn't expecting much but I enjoy it. I needed a 30 minute comedy/drama and it hits the spot. Hope we don't have to wait too long for a new season.
