learn is the wrong word for me, i feel like that word was the central premise behind why fans wanted to see the prequels

i want to discover

but yeah, what if you made that into a standalone horror movie with a good story...tremors in space it couldn't have the same tone as the monsters in TFA. something foreboding, stalking, menacing, lurking and waiting...anywhere from jaws to alien or aliens or pitch black

there's a lot they can do, and i hope eventually when they've got this thing in high gear, they can afford to take chances

Would be perfect. Looks the part and is good at dying.

The one I posted is from the EU which is no longer canon.

I think Chili's is just a concept by a fan. Could be wrong.

The look is accurate though. That is how they look consistently in many things.

anyway, trailer looks good but i hope they don't box themselves in creatively...one aspect of the ending to this movie was written 40 years ago which i don't mind at all, just hope they don't end up with that mindset

"well, we gotta have this in there"

understand there will be well deserved hesitation among fans for a star wars prequel

One more for you. This was from a Lucasarts video game and not the books.

I don't know what a Bothan is and didn't know what an AT-AT was. I googled them and why aren't you weirdos calling them Walkers like normal people?

this conversation has made me curious, if the protagonist of a star wars movie is some shitty looking alien will fans be as upset as they were about a female lead and a black stromtrooper

i need to relate to the character and project myself into the adventure, i don't know how i could do that if the movie was about that ridiculous looking thing

ETA: maybe a movie about han solo transitioning into a wookie (transwookie)

i call them walkers, but i know they're called AT-AT because of several video games I've played where you relive the battle of hoth

For me I would take the Human female of course.
But I would like a new strong male lead. Hopefully Finn shows more next time around.

Rey was great though. I obviously like her with my avatar.

I'm actually way more interested in seeing this story than I would be in the Han Solo or Boba Fett movies. And the Han movie is far more interesting than Boba Fett to me as well. Anything dealing with Fett is blatant pandering to fans, the character has been ruined enough thanks to the prequels.

This.

Maybe it's just me, but I've always found Boba Fett to be the most perpetually overrated character in the Star Wars franchise.

All he really does in Empire is follow Han to Bespin, wherein Darth Vader does practically all of the dirty work, and his death in RotJ is laughably bad for a character who's supposed to be this complete badass. Don't even get me started on his character arc (and his dad's) in the prequels.

The Bothans died in return of the Jedi. I'm sick of people getting this shite wrong.

The next one is a Han Solo stand alone movie, so not for long.

Han Solo, played by Jaden Smith:

"Han Solo is actually black and due to the lack of sun exposure in space his melanin content has dissipated."
