RIP to a legend. To me, he will always be the quintessential Batman.

Damn, that sucks. Will always be THE voice of Batman.

You can't praise the guy enough. He's Batman for multiple generations of kids. He anchored multiple successful series and animated features that spanned three decades. Never heard a bad word about him. He always praised his costars. So glad my kids grew up during the start of the Conroy Batman era.

Damn, this one hits hard. Got lucky and met him once. Was a huge fan. There have been great actors to play Batman, but Kevin was the definitive version. He was Batman. RIP.

Here’s also something that was brilliant about Conroy’s Batman is he had a very subtle difference between voicing Batman and voicing Bruce Wayne. It’s just that additional effort that makes his performance that much better.

By all accounts he was a class act with his fans.
He worked at a kitchen feeding 9/11 first responders and someone recognized his voice. After a bit of encouragement he stood on a chair and recited the "I am vengeance, I am the night, I am Batman" bit and brought the house down.
