Probably have it happen offscreen and maybe have Archer deliver her eulogy at the funeral like in Bojack Horseman. I think it sets up for Archer meeting his real father finally in the final season, it would be a nice touch on the shows finale.

That would be great but I can’t see Archer ranting for 25 minutes at a funeral. Plus as a mother, Beatrice Horseman makes Mallory Archer look like June Cleaver.

Lucille Bluth is a top tier TV Character. When you have a show that clicks that well, but STILL stand out, big accomplishment.
