I might be in the minority, but I think 2 is right up there with the first season. I think Billy Bob is the best character of any season, but I think the overall cast in Season 2 was better. I didn't hate Season 4, but it didn't have the same overall "Fargo" feel as the other seasons.

i agree 100%. its a shame it didn't get as many viewers as true detective because season 1&2 of fargo is better than any season of TD besides S1 (and its still close)

I think Season 2 is perhaps the best season of TV ever. I loved it.
Season 1 is good, I'd put it #2.
The rest just kind of blend in. It was Ewan then Chris Rock then Mad Men?
I'd probably put season 5 (mad men dude) last.

I guess I get it. Both of them are the same kind of "anthology/crime" TV.
But in feel they are so different I don't think you can compare the two.

Thats crazy people saying S5 is worse than S4. I liked it even better than 3.

1 easily the best and one of my favorite seasons of any show. Every single character was brilliant and it stuck the landing/ending.
2 great start and build up, but I just can't get past the goofy ending.
3....this was the last one worth watching. Mary Elizabeth Winstead was smoking hot and a great weird villain in David Thewlis. This was also the last one that felt like the N. Dakota/Minnesota location was really part of the story like the original movie. 2, 4, and 5 did not have that element.
