The reporter who broke the Dahmer story in 1991, and wrote books on it.

quote:

Ms Schwartz, who went on to work in communications for the Milwaukee Police Department and Wisconsin Department of Justice, said the depiction of city police officers as racist and homophobic was incorrect.

Ms Schwartz, who went on to work in communications for the Milwaukee Police Department and Wisconsin Department of Justice, said the depiction of city police officers as racist and homophobic was incorrect.

“In the first five minutes of the first episode you have Glenda Cleveland knocking on his door. None of that ever happened,” says Ms Schwartz.

“I had trouble with buy-in, because I knew that was not accurate. But people are not watching it that way, they’re watching it for entertainment.”

They have their narrative and they'll push it in every way so that it's unquestionable fact when the young grow old.

I mean, I have no idea personally, but this would be the grain of salt I’d take this with

The Ryan Murphy show was made for entertainment and is not a documentary? Shocking.

None of the shite with Glenda Cleveland happened except she called the police after her daughters told her what happened and maybe she met with Jackson. All that “get the frick out of my house” strong black heroine stuff is fantasy. She lived in a different building apparently.

Her daughters were there with the Laotian boy and went home and told her about it. She called the cops to make sure he was okay but that’s all she did. No confirmation she ever even met Dahmer

The sandwich thing was with his neighbor Pamela Bass and she never suspected anything. She even says in interviews she probably ate human parts because she ate the sandwich(es). There are actual interviews with her in the other Dahmer tapes series on Netflix

Well this has been a theme ever since the Dahmer story broke, so its not like Netflix completely fabricated it

Here is an article from 1991 about the incident where 4 officers returned the 14 year old back to Dahmer after neighbors reported him

quote:

Officer Gabrish said he had worked in Milwaukee's inner city for most of his career, sometimes with black officers, and was shocked that he and the other officers were accused of racism and homophobia.

The Ryan Murphy show

He makes entertaining stuff, but he shoehorns The Message in too often. Even Impeachment, which was very well made, threw some stuff in that didn't make a lick of sense in context.

Shame, cos it is very entertaining.

Not liking homosexuals was a pretty common stance in 1991.

I don't see what Skid Row has to do with any of this.

What's stupid is that there is no need to inject these false flag morality themes into a story that already has a clear cut villain and monster. Dahmer kidnapped, tortured, mutilated and cannibalized people. He drilled a hole into a kid's head and poured acid into it hoping it would turn him into a zombie that would obey his commands to have sex with a freshly killed corpse already in his apartment. OK, you can stop right there, you've got your bad guy.

Wait just one damn minute, you mean to tell me someone who works in the communications department of the entity that is being cast in a bad light is trying to defend said entity, shocked I tell you shocked.

she's just defending her people. Is Neflix pumping the race stuff up? Probably, no definitely, but its not completely out of the rhelm of possibility that in 1991 there were racist and or homophobic cops in the milwaukee police department. Milwaukee as a city does have a bit of a reputation. ultimately my point is this isn't a big thing that an employee of the police department is coming out in defense of the police department.

My wife is watching this and I was in the room during one of the first 2 episodes.

Dahmer repeatedly told the cops "There is a lot of gay stuff in there" as a hopeful deterrent from their search.

And you come in here with absolutely zero facts and only your feelings to make an argument

One thing to note: it’s reprehensible the cops let the kid go back in the apartment. But, what did they really know at that time? Those cops were fired and won an appeal and got their jobs back though. One retired in 2017 I think

Cops are already racist enough IRL. They don’t need to be making shite up like this so boot lickers can go “see! They just have a narrative”.

That doesn't automatically mean they did nothing wrong. POS cops get their jobs back all the time.

Never let the facts get in the way of a good narrative.

It's kind of amusing that they want to focus on this supposed racist, homophobic cop thing when the subject of the show is only murdering gay black men. Who's the real racist homophobe? It's not the cops.

You're leaving out the part where the boy escapes and is brought back in by the police.
