Progressive commercials. Love them or sick of them?

Not the Flo commercials.
The new ones with the guy who teaches you “not to be your parents”. The new ones where he is giving the seminar on stage are very good.
Older ones too.

The parent coach ones are hilarious. The fricking zoom commercials with all of the horribly unfunny characters make me irrationally angry. That shite isn’t funny. You can tell their committee got together and said oh this COVID/Zoom humor is hip and people are going to love it. fricking hate it.

I don't watch much TV anymore but I was unlucky to run across one of those. I'm not a particularly violent person but if someone took a flamethrower to whoever thought of that commercial I'd cheerfully bring marshmellows to toast at the roast.

I never understood the Flo commercials. Why did they choose her to be their mascot? I have to imagine the conversation went something like this:
"Hey, we've found someone who will be the perfect representation of our company!"
"Great, who is it?
"It's a woman named Flo."
"Flo? Doesn't ring a bell. But she's famous, right? People will know her?"
"Well, no..."
"Oh, ok. Well then she's hot, right? Sex sells, after all."
"Well... no..."
"Oh. Well. Ok. So then she must be really funny, right? People love a good joke."
"Well... uh... not exactly..."

I think it was the first one but when he says "You have nowhere to sit" and starts chunking all the woman's throw pillows off the couch while she freaks out then when it's uncovered goes "Look at that" I laugh every time
