Why would anyone watch Prodigal Son when they can watch Dexter? Mixed-ish would be my bet for longest running tv show. Watching football the last two days I’ve seen all of these shows on commercials.

Not going to watch any of them but im fairly certain everything on CBS will be "The Best New Comedy" or "The Best New Drama." When you watch football the commercials for their shows always say it the #1 new comedy or Americas #1 rated drama.

Perfect Harmony: Bradley Whitford stars in this comedy about finding inspiration in the most unlikely places. When former Princeton music professor Arthur Cochran unexpectedly stumbles into choir practice at a small-town church, he finds a group of singers that are out of tune in more ways than one. Despite the ultimate clash of sensibilities, Arthur and his newfound cohorts may just be the perfect mix of individuals to help each other reinvent and rediscover a little happiness, just when they all need it most. The cast includes Bradley Whitford, Anna Camp, Tymberlee Hill, Rizwan Manji, Will Greenberg, Geno Segers, and Spencer Allport.

Mercy.

Prodigal Son doesn’t sound original.
They should have just brought back Hannibal instead.

Depending on how you view it I am throwing The Connors into the mix. It's going to be a whole different show from when Roseanne was on it and had input. If it goes beyond one season it will have the worst ratings of any show not cancelled.

CBS - Should be B & A, but they'll keep that shite on because reasons. Patricia Heaton has worn out her Hollywood welcome so hers will go first. I will never accept Boyd Crowder as some handwringing widower in a comedy.
ABC - Stumptown. Should be KSTDT, but fricking AFV has been on the air for decades and has been shite for about that long (but it's cheap as shite to produce and there's always an audience).
NBC - Bluff City Law. People hate lawyers and lawyer shows.
Fox - Bless the Harts. Animation is expensive and the market is saturated.

Bluff city. They were pushing those promos the other week, and it looks like shite.
Agreed. The previews for this have been awful.

ABC wants to capture Young Sheldon lightning in a bottle with Mixed-ish, but it'll never happen because Rainbow is easily the most awful character on the show. I would've rather seen a show with Ruby as a kid, or even Young Charlie. That would've been epic.

Emergence: A character-driven genre thriller, Emergence is about a police chief who takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what has happened. The investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, and the child's identity is at the center of it all. Watch the official trailer for Emergence, premiering TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 24 10|9c on ABC.
I didn’t think this looked good.. just seemed like the knocked off a lot of the main premise of strangers things

Bob Hearts Abishola should be cancelled before it airs. But it's Chuck Lorre, so it will get at least one season.
Sunnyside is my bet just because I feel like comedies are more expendable than dramas, and it looks like hot garbage.
I don't know how Stumptown is any different than Whiskey Cavalier, which at least got to run it's whole season.
Carol's Second Act also looks awful.
The Unicorn looks really bad, but as others have said, Walton Goggins makes it worth giving it a shot.
There really isn't anything that looks like it's worth getting into. Not even from a guilty pleasure standpoint.

Bob Hearts Abishola will be terrible, yet somehow run for 6-7 seasons.
Carol’s second Act will not finish season one before getting canceled before Christmas.
The unicorn will make it to season 2 with some serious critic appeal, but die due to being constantly shuffled timeslots until it’s audience gives up on trying to find it. It’s unceremoniously not renewed for season 3. If lucky, will get picked up by Netflix.
Evil will be an incredible thriller with massive critical success that will be cancelled after 6 episodes.
Emergence will make one season, maybe two:
Stumptown: cancelled after 8 episodes
Mixed-ish: cancelled after 12 episodes
Kids say the darndest things: will quietly run for 5 seasons despite you nor no one you know having ever watched an episode or even known when it airs.

Bluff City Law: cancelled after 4 episodes
Perfect Harmony: first cancelled, might make 3 episodes
Sunnyside: has a great cast, so it should last for at least a short season, might even get re-uped for season two
Prodigal Son: will show great promise for 9 episodes before writing takes a weird turn and 3 timeslot changes lose the niche audience completely. Will finish season 1, but not get renewed for a second season.
Not Just Me: cancelled after 12 episodes
Bless the Harts: will start off as a badly written sitcom resorting to cheap shots at middle America and bad stereotypes, but will somehow morph into a cult classic with a ton of heart and character development. Despite never getting huge ratings, it will run for 4-5 seasons.

I live in the Bluff City. This is the first I've ever heard of this show.

Not saying it will be cancelled first....but the commercials make it so blatantly obvious that Cobie Smulders cannot carry a show.

Doh! I didn't realize they had already made a full season of that still-born dreck.

Maybe if she wore her best bra instead of her second best one.
What a dumb commercial.

I cringe every time they play a commercial for Stumptown. It looks so cheesy and forced.
