Watch them do something in the spirit of the 2016 reboot and it's a effeminate sounding Plinkett that just makes queef jokes and eats Pringles.

oh snap. sjws were so happy this one was in the rear view. it was embarrassing to lie about liking such a piece of shite. it was difficult to frame any criticism of such a bona fide turd as sexist and racist. the whole thing was exhausting for them.

plinkett may have missed the window for this though. no one is taking up that case again without need. movie was so bad.

I don't think so. Only been a year, and this feminist shite is as relevant as ever. It will be particularly hilarious given how praised Wonder Woman was by everyone, and I'm sure he's going to bring that up in the review. I think it's as good of a time now as ever.

His review of the prequels should be mandatory viewing in film school.

OK, Plinkett lost me by saying that Leslie Jones was a talented person and funny on Saturday Night Live.

tbf, he was right that Leslie Jones was the only one of the four that was at all believable/relatable as a person even though she is by far the least funny of the 4 girls, her character at least seemed to belong in a Ghostbusters universe. The other 3 were just terrible in that regard.

The only part of the review I didn't like was shitting on Bill Murray for not having a Ghostbusters 3. There was no need to have a GB 3 especially with how average the second one was. The first movie told the story extremely well. Expanding on the universe with TV shows and video games was fine enough. I would have certainly seen a third movie. Hell, some of the concepts for a third movie were pretty good, but it certainly wasn't needed.

But REMEMBER SCARFACE?

Ghostbusters 2016 is the worst thing ever made by a human... except for the bagpipes.

I'm shocked that he went after Bill Murray as hard as he did. Like that was just vicious at the end.

But really he should have gone after the sexism angle. He was implying it, but he should have gone all in. Like the antagonist. I was actually somewhat offended by the villain from the movie. There's no way this guy was their first thought as a villain. The only reason this basement dwelling pathetic a-hole was the villain was the initial backlash for the women's Ghostbusters and then they said "yeah, we'll show them! In fact we'll turn these assholes into the villains. They're nothing but women hating basement dwelling morons that everyone hates." Like there wasn't a single male character with a redeeming quality in that movie save for Chris Hemsworth being hot.

Despite all that everyone loved Rey and Wonder Woman. So are we really all that sexist, or do we just simply want quality characters? Hey how about you design them as characters first who would best serve the story instead of a simple frick you to the audience who you're trying to appeal to. He should have gotten into that and shown why Rey and Wonder Woman work, and why the female Ghostbusters don't.

The simplest explanation is the most likely. 2016 Ghostbusters was complete garbage that critics pretended to like because they didn't want to be lumped in with sexists.

Rey didn't work though. She was a 2D character and there was very little redeeming about her or FA
