PG / PG 13 movies you would like to see as a rated R film?

Stupid thread is stupid but this kind of stems from the thread about which films you'd like to see remade and which ones you wouldn't.

Caught Jumanji again last night, it's not a film I'd like to see be directly duplicated but I think a "rated R" version of the film could be pretty epic.

Modern effects? The things that come out of the game actually kill people?

So what ya got?

Yeah, forgot about the G movies. I imagine a lot of Disney films could be terrifying.

"Live Free or Die Hard" and "Taken" should have been rated R.

All of them. What movie couldn't benefit from more blood and boobs?

Maleficient

I feel it could have been really good if it were allowed true fight scenes and a more adult theme.

I forget the name of the movie (I think it was Sex Tape maybe) but they did an unrated version where naked chicks were randomly superimposed into the movie. It was pretty lame and kind of took away from the movie. It was already rated R going in though.

The only time I can recall a movie going from PG13 to R where it lost something was in Saving Silverman b/c they changed a Jack Black line from "Die replacement friend!" to "frick you replacement friend!"

I liked the way Black said die in exaggerated fashion much more than the angry frick you.

Cloverfield. If there's a giant monster attacking my city, and I'm filming with a handheld camera, you best believe I'm dropping an f-bomb every other sentence.

Slightly different but Cool World shouldn't have been rewritten. Bashki's original script would have been R, if not NC17, also would have been a much better movie. I don't think I am mistaken in saying it was PG13.

Definitely this. There's so much death and nudity in the books.
