Whatsup with this? It’s a classic in movies…

Has anyone actually did this in real life, other than washing your face?

My old man always splashes water on his face when he wakes up in the morning. I’ll occasionally do it if I’m hot.

When I did manual labor, was hiking, playing sports or anything else that made me sweat, I would do it any chance I had.

I've done it in the bathroom as a fan at baseball and football games when it was really hot.

Never had a hangover?

Never been so freaking hot you're about to pass out?

"Why do people blow on food after they pick it up off the floor?"

Really? C'mon. The 'idea' is to remove any dust & dirt that may have gotten on it (under the 5 second rule, of course)

Or my favorite

When people in movies take showers they place both palms on the shower wall by the showerhead and dramatically sigh and breathe in heavily

Who stands with their palms like that in the shower?

I laugh every single time

My morning routine includes dunking my face into a bowl of iced Saratoga Still Natural Spring Water at 4:55a, 5:49a, 8:02a, and 9:09a.

It's nice if it's dry and dusty or if your eyes or nose are dry.

Living without air conditioning in Baton Rouge will do that to you.

Yes

And in true movie fashion too, like trying to get a hold of myself. Not because I was hot.

It works pretty well.
