If anyone thinks that their "Principles" can't affect change ask Gina Carano about that. Enough people raised hell and got her fired for having an opinion. You don't have to give up everything to affect change. The power of bitching has a pretty powerful impact if enough people are bitching about the same.

Agreed. With the exception of Susan Sarndon and Sean Penn, I can divorce my political philosophy from ability to watch and enjoy movies/TV shows.

frick that shite. I’m not going looking for it but if it’s shoved in my face or blatantly obvious I’ll go another direction.

Correct headline: Pedro Pascal defends pedophiles and child rapists.

I'm unaware of Bend Broadband's political stances on pretty much everything. Care to fill me in?

He didn't "go to a town." Much of his family lived there at the time, and he was working there. The media is making far more out of the "crossed state lines" narrative than actually exists.

There is no doubt the narrative of “crossing state lines” was well over played.

But the opposite sides “narrative” about the kid being some “hero” is fraught with just as much BS.

Like folks saying “he killed child molesters and rapist” - how did he know that they were? It is also contrary to the notion of self defense.

I’m not obsessed with this case like some seem to be, but from what I have read it sounds like the jury came to the correct verdict in this case. The jury system worked. I haven’t seen a “legal expert” say anything otherwise.

But in the greater scheme of things, this was a 17 year old child who decided to go down to this riot and chose to bring a weapon. If he was bringing it for “defense” then it calls into question his decision to go there. More than likely though, it was either for provocation/intimidation, to make a “political statement” or just make himself feel important.

Pretty sure that is defamation since he did not murder anyone. Pascal has a checkbook, some celebrities need to be sued to make a point, why not him?

I always enjoy the actors for their acting not their beliefs. Always just watch Ricky Gervais roasting the hell out of them at the awards
