Agreed. It was a difficult episode to deal with. When white (blue?) dragon really started going off after being called a Nazi and talking about fatherhood, you felt a shift. Then Vigilante did his thing.

I want to put a stake in the ground… I think that Most Perfect Universe Adrien/Vigilante went through the portal, not normal one.

Anyone else feel like the show seems a little sloppy and cheap? Something about the filmmaking style comes off as half-assed. Hard to describe but I just get that vibe. Comes off like Gunn threw this together quickly and didn't take it seriously.

You mean.. like. We have 5 minutes to kill, what are we going to fill it with? Some shallow dialogue and a board game? Yep!

Wouldn't be complete without a subtle insinuation that christians are nazis.

Show officially jumped the shark. Listening to the companion podcast and they’re confirming the Nazi world is an allegory for present day America. She outright had a line in the show saying it also

Adebayo actress claiming there are places she can’t go because she’s black

Told yall this was cheap and stupid. Gunn could’ve done something true to the story that he set up and made the pocket dimension the DCEU to explain his shitty writing away, but alas

That said, John Cena and Robert Patrick absolutely killed it this episode

I could be rich and black and my arse still wouldn't go to Vidor Texas or Harrison Arkansas. Crazy to think that there are still sundown towns.
While i don't agree with some of the "on the nose" comnentary. This show hasn't "jumped the shark". That term means to drasticcallly change direction of the show for attention.

It's got to suck to watch every show from inside your political bubble.

I bet you a black person would be far safer walking through those towns than my white arse would be walking through certain parts of any big city.

These two pictures give off the same vibe
The spider picture (some people are saying it is brainiacs skull ship) has spears sticking up in the ground like the vision in creature commandos

The CW comparisons are accurate from adebayo just being a bad actress to the dialogue she had with judo master. Like a bunch of high school misfits saying how bad the world is but at least w have each other type bs. Pretty embarassing from Gunn

agreed. i know Rock has Smashing Machine coming out, but I've been more impressed with Cena's range as of now. Patrick's monologue tore him up before he got tore up.

I really felt bad for him when he let out that scream. Like i felt what he was putting out. He is a great action star and does comedy well.

Thought it was the best episode of the season. The whole bit with Peacemaker, his Dad and Brother was fantastic.

I knew Roy wouldn’t let me down this time.

Do you seriously believe that sundown towns still exist? The rest of these figs crying about Nazis being bad guys is one thing, but this is just as bad in the opposite direction
