Shout out to the late great Len Wein and Dick Dillin, who first gave us Nazi Earth-X in 1973.
Wein also co-created Swamp Thing and Wolverine.

Prediction: By the end of his life, dead Peacemaker was secretly helping the Sons of Liberty
They’ve hinted that he was “missing a lot” and “acting strange” before he died. I’m also guessing that BDE Harcourt is about to be queen Nazi and she thought her dimension’s Chris was a jerk

I really think the earth X thing is stupid. I thought they were going to do the DCEU dimension, which would’ve actually filled plot holes and continuity questions from The Suicide Squad. Redditors celebrating the killing of all the “Nazis” as well, great timing since those type of people would call Kirk one
It just doesn’t make any sense in building out the DCU. Jmo. I’m sure it’ll be fun and quirky, but that’s my issue with Gunn. He can’t seem to do serious and meaningful all that well

Nazis are the perfect villan. No sympathy. And built in antimosity. It needed to be a dimension that was fricked. What would be more fricked then us having lost ww2 and the last 80 years being different?

Not really, it doesn’t move the story forward, leaves gaping plotholes and doesn’t address the continuity issues Gunn created. Gunn’s solution to his fricked up timeline? I’ll just tell you what’s canon and not use my show to do it, I’ll use gore porn politics instead of fixing it
with the current state of politics it just feels gross they’re all celebrating killing the whites since any conservative is a nazi now. Earth X is an exaggeration but it’s still real today. I’d feel the same if he created a show indiscriminately killing black panthers and everyone online celebrating it. It’s cheap and stupid

Rewatching that scene between Cena and Holland, what a great job by both of them. I didn't know they had THAT in them

You do get this show was filmed well before kirk was killed? That no one with a brain is confusing real NSDAP national socialism with modern politics.
Pretty much everyone expected nazi world. Name another instantly fricked up universe were everything is near normal but with one major change?
And cannon? Are you new to comic book movies? They've never followed comic stories. Superman has been rebooted how many times since the 1930s now?
It's entertaunment. If you see yourself in the nazis then maybe that's a problem with you and not the show runner.

10/10 episode, completely changed direction of the series. Sidenote, it's hard to believe Freddie Stroma(vigilante) is 38 years old. Guy looks 25

Even though everyone predicted the twist, I still enjoyed it. Loved the “you Spider-Man memes me!” Had to rewind it and make sure I heard that right.
Ditto. I didn’t catch anything bout that first season with his dad.
And I’m a right wing guy who hates “everything I don’t like is Nazi” but it plays correctly with the source material with white dragon. When Leota said “I’m going to go outside” it hit me that the predictions were true. I hate it when it’s shoehorned in there but it’s pretty pertinent to the plot and source material.

Yeah I thought it was damn good and I’ve been accused of being a political board regular here

Denman yelling "one got out" was freaking hilarious. I foresee a lot of memes with that quote

It makes perfect sense that if White Dragon was going to have a portal to one other universe, that would be the one. That’s his “best universe ever”.

I love the theater by me. It's practically abadoned. I can go in a Saturday night and leave my house around show time and walk in during previews. I pay monthly for unlimited movies. But then haven't been to the mucus in six weeks so I'm wasting my $21 a month.
I enjoy movies. Only bummer is the last women i was seeing hates movies. Shes seen nothing and only likes romantic drama. My ex wife loved the same movies i did. Its more fun when you gave a built in movie buddy. Maybe the next one.

I agree. He gets one dimensional and does not do nuance well at all. Im prepared for the rest of the season to be fraught with on the nose social commentary.

I agree with this. I would rather some sort of other issue was the underlying problem as Nazism and white racism is dead horse that's been beaten into a greasy stain, but it's also an easily understood and known trope.
That said, I wouldn't mind seeing DC characters enter a Milestone universe where blacks are the racist majority just to shake things up a bit. Or something a bit like Man in the High Castle where Japan is who took over the US in WW2 (the whole US instead of just the West Coast).
