So, essentially, well before (as the entire episode was great) the first act ends, you brain began to understand what you’re watching, even in its limited capacity.

Stories, I tell ya, never know where they’re going to end up.

Saw this one YouTube, don’t know if it was mentioned yet:

If Rambeau was ejected from Wanda’s reality with the 70s clothing on, than Wanda can take things from her reality and make them real in the “real world.”

She will be able to take Billy, Tommy, and Vision out and have them live in the “real world.”

yanah Parris abruptly dropping the shtick when she hears the chirping sound, and then immediately settling back into it, is not an easy thing to seamlessly and subtly pull off. If you're watching while browsing your phone, you could easily miss that the Geraldine character has briefly, totally changed.

We all know that this is Monica Rambeau, the daughter in Captain Marvel, a Captain Marvel/Photon/Spectrum an Avenger herself, right?

Ok so this was definitely a fun episode. I am starting to dig the sitcom style now. I'm ready to get to all the action soon, but I definitely applaud the writing choices. But As soon as Geraldine( or whatever her real name is) mentioned Pietro and Ultron, the episode had a huge shift. I lowkey thought Wanda was about to straight kill her for a little bit.

My theory so far( I may be totally off base but we'll see). Wanda has basically taken capture of an entire town and pretty much has it taken apart from the real world. She's creating the normal life that she wanted to live but she can't(wasn't she and Quicksilver slaves, or maybe orphans. I haven't seen Age of Ultron in years, so my memory is off). Some of the town's people obviously know what's up, if not all of them. They just trying to play nice so that they eventually hopefully make it out of this whole thing alive. My guess is that's Shield trying to infiltrate the barrier dream world to either save/stop Wanda. Does Nick Fury have a daughter in the comics? Is Geraldine in any way related to Nick.

I'm not sure what's up with Vision just yet. He's dead, but in this dream world he's actually alive but doesn't know that he's actually dead.

If so, that Vision still has the Mind stone.

The Vision thing is the most interesting thing to me. Obviously he died, but did Wanda somehow legitimately recreate him? The Geraldine character was thrown from whatever the city is but she stayed in that era clothing.

So can anything Wanda dreams up in there function in real life? Or when the fake town comes crumbling down does Vision do so with it?

And if he is a recreation of Wandas memories and is basically just a puppet, wouldn’t it make sense that he can’t get the ideas that something is wrong?

So many questions

I think the townspeople are fatal victims of the Avengers actions. For instance, the building Wanda blew up in Civil War. I think everyone there in this pocket reality that isn’t infiltrating it (like Monica) or in it (like Agnes) are dead. A possible spell, charm, deception, whatever by Mephisto/Agnes triggered this response by Wanda.

This series is shaping up to be pretty freaking good...but hey Marvel Studios isn’t creative or something.

Is the bee keeper possibly Swarm? I don't think I remember any interaction between the Sinister Six and Scarlett Witch though.

Oh and that small arse screen trick was annoying, but I get why they did it. It widened out right at the end.

i remember watching critical drinkers video on how he was prepared to move on from marvel after end game and thinking how myopic he was being. as his tendency, he really didnt have a solid complaint past "they just closed a major chapter and i think it will become to SJWy" but if you couldn't see the massive story potential the MCU had after end game and knowing how the people behind it have largely told competent stories, i dont see how you can be surprised that marvel has, again, been doing a strong job at crafting phase 4

I always thought Marvel did a great job of balancing Wanda sitting on the fence between good and evil. Though not really truly evil, her perspective was often me against the world.

She along with Dr Strange and Dr. Fate were my top three reads growing up

I really do think that Mephisto is the bad guy, and he made a deal with Wanda for her to be with Vision in another reality. She willingly made the deal, which is why she is going along with it because she has what she wants. But what is she giving him in return?

He had a sword logo on his jacket. I think he is just an agent they snuck in from the sewer. So wanda has seen the logo on him and the helicopter. In this episode she sees the necklace. Either she knew and was pissed or didnt understand but connected the 3 times and was freaked.

Ah, I had to look up what SWORD was after reading comments. I couldn't figure out why the helicopter freaked her out, and why it was in color.

What’s with Viz realizing something is off though? Is that him realizing he shouldn’t be alive or just his computer brain analyzing everything that’s wrong but Wanda keeps rewinding to out him behind the 8 ball. Which clearly won’t be lasting much longer.

I am getting a really strong Twilight Zone “It’s a good life” vibe from Wanda.

Any thoughts on the commercials? Two of the three commercials were Hydra commercials.

All 3 commercials had to do with personal traumas in Wandas life. Stark’s bomb, Hydra.
