Correct sir.

They'd HAVE to have vehicles there.

Yeah. Someone pointed out earlier that they had those signs very far out. They aren't doing that by foot.

and they wouldn't have all those supplies without scouring the surrounding areas (which vehicles would help with tremendously).

Seems like their primary source of supplies is coercing people into their sanctuary then stealing everything from them.

I agree, the signs say to put down weapons and you would have to think everyone that makes it there is armed.

The sign said to "lower" your weapons. They never took them. They asked to show (sizing them up, I guess), then gave them back as an act of trust.

I wonder if they have a working train engine at Terminus. Carl would be a badass rolling down the tracks wearing one of these:

If you could find an old steam engine (not sure if they still exist), it would actually be a great way to roll to different towns to see if things were better elsewhere.

My guess is the people sitting in shipping containers and rail cars are not armed.

Obviously, they eventually took them. But the signs posed no threat.

I'm wondering what Team Glenn did to get put in the box. Rick only declined the food because he saw Glenn's watch. Surely Team Glenn would have taken the free food.

Yeah. That brings up an interesting question of how things go for people coming in that don't notice anything wrong. Rick and crew noticed Glenn's watch and a couple of other items from their prision group and so balked.

I wonder how it went with Glenn and his crew. Does the fact that they were in the box car outside rather than the steel container inside indicate that they sensed something fishy and had to be hearded to section A under gunfire like Rick's group? Or did the Terminus people just pull the old "and here's an interesting train car, go on in and see what's inside" and then close the door behind them?

I guess we'll get all of that in flashbacks next season.

Great question. Some posters have alluded to the Terminus people maybe posing the "would you eat human meat" as a test for if they belong there. Maybe they failed the test (if cannibalism is going on there). I'm also thinking that sanctuary has a double meaning, or isn't what normal people would consider a "sanctuary for all".

Makes you wonder if the food is drugged. (Sorry, I can't remember if someone commented on that already.)

I wonder if Jo-Jo will show up as one of the cannibals like in the comics. Dude is an absolute badass. If so, he'll be the one who helps Rick's crew escape.

April Fools. I've never read the comics. I hope there's not a dude named Jo-Jo.

interesting theory. They drug Team Glenn and take their stuff and lock them up. But, Rick won't eat it so they have to use force.

Hmm...

Maybe that's why all the powdered milk is on the ground. They're like "This here is our cereal car...go on in and have as much as you'd like."

We all are assuming that who they deem as "friend" is immediately embraced. Maybe locking people up they see as potential cult members is part of the indoctrination process hoping to break them.

I'm glad you mentioned this because it reminded me of something I forgot to mention.

I was wondering if something was wrong with the food as well because as the camera panned around to show Rick's PoV, it didn't look like anyone that had a plate of food was eating (which set off alarms for me).

The powdered milk has to mean something though, right? I don't think they would just show that just for shits and gigs.

Yeah they were all just sitting around.

The food might not be drugged but instead just use it to distract them. While they are eating, the termites ambush and hold them at gunpoint to disarm them.
