it’s not about the death of that person, and then the death of the person is going to kick off season 7, and season 7 will be a big part of, obviously, who is on the receiving end of Lucille? I understand the fans’ frustration, I get that; that being said … I have to trust these writers and showrunners. They know what they’re doing; a lot of people watch for 6 seasons, and I believe that they’ll be back to see who met Lucille and as the story continues to grow.”
The only true part of that statement....

“I talked to [comic creator] Robert Kirkman [on Sunday night] after we did Talking Dead and he is kind of doing the backstory of Negan now, so whether or not or when we see that – I hope we do, I can’t answer that. I know when season 7 kicks off it’s going to kick off directly from where we left it; that’s about all I know as a fact at this point. But hopefully we’ll find out more about Negan as we go. I mean, I think his backstory is going to be pretty fascinating."
can't wait for this filler episode sandwiched right in the middle of advancing the plot

I like Papa Winchester as Negan. Hard character to accurately pull off but I think his TV version will be sufficient. As far as who gets Lucilled, I believe it's Abe, Glenn, Darryl in that order of likelihood. If they really wanted a wtf moment they would have Negan bash in a preggo Maggie's noggin. I personally can't see it being any of the women. If it's Aaron or Eugene I would feel cheated.

Why? Is this what happened in comics?'
If so, I'd delete this because bamachick will hunt you down and get you banned for putting this even if it isn't.

If Negan's victim on the series winds up being Glenn (Yeun's one-year contract with the series is said to include only season six, sources say), it would mark a fitting end for the character.

In that interview and on the Talking Dead last night, it kept getting mentioned that season 7 will be about who was killed and the impact it has on the group. I don't think killing Abe would have enough of an impact on the group to drastically change things. Aaron would have almost no real impact on the group. I think it will be Glenn or Daryl. If it's Glenn, we get to see how pregnant Maggie responds. If it's Daryl we get to see how the group responds to losing one of their best and toughest members. Daryl has always been key to the groups survival. Not to mention the fan reaction.

I don't think it's Glenn because he was an emotional wreck the whole scene crying and screaming ect... After that first wack from Lucile Neagen said something like "ohhh you're taking it like a man huh?"
Glenn isn't man enough to take that
Glenn isn't man enough to take that

Wtf is up with all of this suddenly Eugene is a bad arse now. Everytime he tries to pull it off it fails miserably. I thought he was going down in a blaze of glory last night NOPE tied up and crying like a bitch again

Whenever Negan says "if anybody moves, cut the boy's other eye out and feed it to his father" he motions to his right with the bat, as if pointing in that general direction.
I think it's anybody from Abe left if you're looking at it from Negan's perspective. Most likely Abe, followed by Glenn, then Daryl. I don't think daryl's story is done yet, though.

If that's the case, Gimple needs to be fired and just let Greg Nicotero take over. Make a choice in the show, and stick by it. Test audience and fan reaction gimmicks lessen a story. Hard choices are what can make a show great.

He said he wants half their stuff and when he comes around in the future, they better open the door for him, etc.
They will not have to escape. The struggle will be "fight or comply"
Right ... so I guess my question should be why will the show go on if they're endentured servants basically??

They don't??

Exactly. However my order is Glenn, Abe, then Daryl.

I think the person who will be told "good luck with your Future Endeavors" needs to be told.

Well there's apparently a lot of TWD fans claiming to be done with the show because of the cliffhanger. Most aren't done. They'll be back for episode 1 of Season 7. They can't stay away.
Now, who dies is interesting because there are so many Daryl fans that if he is on the receiving end of Lucille the show may actually lose a lot of his viewers.
If they're going to give a truely impactful death- it'll be Glen.If it's second level impact it's Abe. If they're going for lesser impact it's Eugene. I'm wavering between the 3.
Leaning towards Eugene or Glenn presently.

Agreed...the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced it's Glenn. Gimple keeps mentioning how dealing with this death will mean major changes for the group and Glenn is the only one that really fits that imo. Don't get me wrong, Daryl's death would be a major blow to the group but what changes would that really cause?
Glenn, on the other hand, has a wife and child on the way. Rick is forever indebted to Glenn for finding him and reuniting him with Lori and Carl. Glenn is one of the innocent "good guys" of the group. I can't even imagine how Maggie will handle it.
And imagine how Daryl Dixon is going to handle it. If he doesn't wander out into the woods, prompting everyone to split up, maybe this doesn't happen. Glenn even told Daryl he was being selfish shortly before getting captured by the Saviors. Daryl is going to be engulfed with guilt over indirectly causing the death of a very close friend...and causing Maggie to lose the father of her child and husband.

I say Glenn. The guy has cheated death too many times.
Hell, he already had a blunt object to his head at the cannibals place, before carol stepped in.
As far as the episode goes, I liked the ending.. Yes, cliffhangers are bull$&/t but the sound alone and the first person view was intense.
They will now have to comply and next season will see Rick laying low because his being cocky led to this. Which will lead to all sympathy and power going to Maggie. Who may end up more ruthless due to revenge..
She has seen all forms of leadership.. From her dad just running a farm, to Shane and ricks struggle, to the governor, to carols resourcefulness, to the weakness of the last lady of Alexandria and the douche from hilltop, and now to Ricks cockiness and negans true strength... Include the loss of everyone dear to her... Maggie takes over.
