So you mean to tell me it either wasn't filmed yet, they gonna cgi it, or they'll have reset up that whole massive scene and take again to refilm the actual death??
Dumb if they didn't already film it in that moment. They said on talking dead that was a 15 hour shoot to do that final scene and very emotional. It'll be tough to identically recreate that to refilm the death blow just to keep it a secret from the cast.
Also, they love to release season trailers at comic con. Now they can't include any of those in the season trailers without spoiling that the said people were not the one killed by Negan.
Was dumb not to show last night. Ratings and anticipation would have been equally high for the opener of people already know who died.

Done? No but my interest is waning a bit. Especially to hear Negan will be the villain "the next few seasons" that seems like it's going to be a lot bullshite filler episodes.

So my niece just unknowingly told me which character Negan killed in the comic book.
Should I take it as fact, or does the show differ from the comic on certain plots? Anybody know how screwed I am? Or is there hope that it may be someone different?
Now I'm even more pissed that they left it a cliffhanger!

Yes it differs from the comics on a lot of things. Comic readers aren't 100% sure who it is either, but I'd say the list is narrowed down.

Not really. I've seen a few online. I read some of the Spoiler thread. I've at times read other online spoiler things. I usually avoid most of it during the actual season on tv so I can enjoy it. But I know enough to understand the show varies at times from the comics probably to keep all viewers- readers and non- on their toes.

Does that shitty spin off draw a big number? I gave that a few episodes but all of the main characters were fricking awful so I quit.

I never watched it. The popup chef from treme as the main character was enough for me to skip it.

Its ok, with that show.. I think we are seeing the perspective of what turns a man into a villain, instead of a hero.

I stuck with Fear when I didn't like it too much in the beginning. I ended up really enjoying it about half way through the the season.

It picked up speed as it went. The hard part was watching people at the onset of the ZA that knew nothing about what was happening. As viewers of TWD I think we wanted to scream at them for their stupidity early on. The finale was really good and the previews for the season look pretty good. I'll definitely watch. Hey, at least that gives us a ZA fix through the end of May.
