They definitely telegraphed the guys family coming for revenge from a mile away.
And I can't imagine anyone could even understand 40% of what the daughter says without closed captions. The last scene I think it was she would just grumble "gerrhhh" and it'd say "or we could visit Graceland on a road trip, father." on the screen

Having his daughter play his daughter wasn't the greatest of decisions here

The move he pulled at the red light alone makes him more competent than 90% of the OG villains.
Seriously? I thought that was ham fisted as frick. The road wasn't even that busy, most of the time you can look both ways and run the red light safely as long as you aren't a dumbass. Instead these two idiots pull out right In front of what appears to be a slow moving car

How long does it take Detroit police to confirm paint matching from a car that killed a judge that continues to just drive around the city daily.

Detroit PD is RL one step up from New Orleans so left to their own devices? Years if ever.
But no, IRL if a judge were killed this would go to the top of the list for the state police or FBI to test and they would have it back in days.

Told my wife the other night, I know they dressed her really well and all that but she may legitimately be the hottest woman in the history of television
I mean I know there are prolly some ones out there equally as hot but idk who would ever top her

I could watch Raylan read the phone book though.

Things seemed to get a lot better this episode though the ending was fairly strange and I really really really hope they don't have Raylen and the attorney hook up

The characters on this show are on the verge of being interesting. They just don't have that Justified flavor.

I thought Mansell got more interesting last night granted he's on the verge of being too over the top but I'd take that over boring
I love the Albanians

As others have said, this is not a Marshal Raylan Givens novel. In the original book the lead character is Detective Raymond Cruz.
Raylan has been shoehorned into this, and if Elmore Leonard was still alive, and able to tweak the script, I'm sure it would be better than it is.
The show is simply an adaptation, and while I am enjoying it a bit more than the first couple of episodes it's still lacking something I can't quite put my finger on.
In all honesty, it is not quite a Raylan Givens story and it is hardly recognizable as "City Primeval" either.

Cause who doesn’t want an averaged looking middle aged black woman who is shaped like a bean bag and calls people cracker.
Show runners are basically daring you to say she ain’t hot

In the right situation she’d probably give you the Holy Ghost, but not for this show. The only thing that can save the revival of Justified is Boyd Crowder showing up at the end.

It felt forced even with the “old flame” at sweetys in the first episode.

She’s ugly as frick. I’m hoping the preview was a misdirection and he just got drunk and slept it off at her house. I would respect him more as his character from Sons of Anarchy.
