It's stated in Civil War that Peggy Carter was 96 when she died, meaning she was born in 1920. She was a year older than Steve, making him 24 when he receives the serum and 25 when he goes under the ice.

In the Avengers film, chronologically he is 91 years old even though he's only 26 physically. In Age of Ultron, he's 29 physically, 94 actually. During Civil War, he makes the comment to Bucky when he says that "Dot" is probably 95 years old by now that, "so are we".

Physically, he's 38 at the end of Endgame. If you assume that someone with the serum ages at 50-75% the rate of a normal human, if he came back in 1970, his physical age would be 91, but he would look closer to Robert Downey Jr.'s actual age.

If he came back in 1949-1950, his physical age now matches his actual age (106).

I'm just sayin', I've seen some folks saying that he went back to 1970 Peggy. But the movie ends with 1940's sedans driving by her house while they have their dance. It might make sense for late 30's Steve to catch Peggy when she's in her 30's in the 1950's, but it appears that he went back to the 1940's.

Not reading through this whole thread but I keep seeing “no post credits.” It kind of does a disservice to the Galactus nod, doesn’t it? (I saw it on YouTube after the fact$

Steve Rogers was born in 1918, it says that on his plaque at the museum in Winter Soldier.

no because he didn’t travel to a different point in time.
he actually reversed time itself.
when traveling through time, the timeline is still moving forward and the person is moving to different points within that timeline.
when rewinding time, he actually moved the entire timeline backwards.

But when Vision & the Mind Stone’s destruction/explosion were reversed Wanda was not rewound. She was still on ground where she landed after she destroyed it and looked up and noticed it happening.

Just got out. What a bloated movie. No reason for that movie to be three hours at all.

I very much enjoyed it.

But there was a ton of fluff. You could easily cut 20 30 minutes and the movie would be better for it. You could cut even more and it might be better.

The best part for me, and what made it truly worth it all, was to look over at my 12 year old sitting in the theatre chair smiling from ear-to-ear when all the Avengers came back together to fight Thanos and his army.

Had a similar moment the day after I saw it. My 25 yr old youngest son texted me his favorite moment and it was this.

That's an awesome feeling even though a stupid comic movie.

Because it made people fall in love with its characters.

Without the performances RDJ, Evans, Hemsworth, Cumberbatch, Bosman, etc. have put on over the years, that scene doesn’t land the way it does.

How does Loki’s arc continue now with him getting the tesseract in the past?

Sure, they went further in the past from that point to get it, but that had already happened.

Still pissed that Ironman had to die. However, you never know what Rodgers did when he went back to the past.

As a child of the 70's/80's it's amazing that they were able to do this with A- to C-list players. But I have to admit I shed my share of tears and audibly cheered when Cap picked up the hammer.

It still amazes me that they made fricking Iron Man an A-lister. If you had told me 15 years ago that Iron Man would be one of the most popular super heroes in the world, I would have said you were crazy, but RDJ made it happen.

I agree. Cap is obviously higher up. I casually followed Falcon, Thor, and Hulk. I'd at least heard of Dr. Strange, Hawkeye, Black Panther, and Black Widow, but Guardians, not so much.
