Wish they would have left an opening for Evans to come back.
There is a huge opening. Once you’re a time traveler you’re never truly dead. Cap and Tony left 1970 with a handful of Pym particles. They could appear in the next big event and then jump back in time to defeat Thanos.

I didn’t really have a problem with the time travel logic. ALL time travel movies mostly break their own logic and have plenty of pot holes. That’s why this board lost its gourd over Looper, an otherwise pretty fine movie.
If the logic is the biggest gripe about Endgame then I’d take that. Damn fine movie to me. Maybe not quite as good as Infinity War but still better than most of the MCU flicks. Love Thor teaming up with the Guardians. James Gunn is gonna have a ball.

Just got out of the theater. Feels like I just watched The Passion of the Christ. It was special, but I'm not sure I ever want to see it again.

After looking at that I changed my mind on something.
I look at it as there being only one alternate timeline being created and was looking at that as when Thanos found out about what Future Nebula knows in 2014.
After looking over your post it could be that each team that went back created alternate timelines (which can get really confusing) or only one alternate timeline was created and that was when Loki escapes in 2012.
Since that was the earliest point where an action is important enough to impact future events to the point of needing another timeline all other events that happened with the other Avengers teams happen in this alternate line as well.
For me it looks kind of like this...
There's more detail for the Avengers teams that went back in time but in a high-level view that was pretty much it.
Tony, Steve and Bruce's team went the farthest back of all the teams thus their problems caused an alternate timeline that the other teams would eventually appear in.
Loki's escape wouldn't have had an impact (yet) on Thanos so everything he was doing after 2012 still happened the same even though it's a different timeline. When he encounters Future Nebula and travels to 2019 of the main timeline, it's from the alternate timeline's past.

I know it also triggered some people but I liked that Cap gave the shield to Sam. Bucky would never take it. From the moment Tony died until the end I had tears in my eyes and I’m normally tough as nails

Not only that but 2024 Cap ends up living through the 50's, 60's, etc so there could be some Nomad stories there.

Y’all are missing the point where Cap goes back and returns the stones to the exact locations as to when they were taken so the only timeline we get is the MCU whatever happened happens

I would have found that questionable as well, given Cap's greater history (literally) with Bucky, but this decision follows the comics (where Sam probably had MORE history with Cap than Bucky) so it works for me. I had a co-worker questioning it but after I explained that to him he was of the same mind.

Thor was great. This movie felt like a series finale. I did think Carol Devers was going to go all Lillith Fair on us. The only straight woman I’ve seen with that hairstyle was Carol Brady and turns out I didn’t see Marrcia, Jan, or Cindy.

Son of a bitch! Was not expecting Iron Man to die.
Best movie of the entire series.

That's not how I see it. The only stone that come from the main timeline was the Space Stone (Tesseract), the rest of them came from the alternate timeline (which is where he put them). This allows for everything to have happened in both times while the events of the main timeline also happened without interruption.

Thor was great.
As the wife and I were getting ready for bed last night I took off my shirt and said "Look, I'm Endgame Thor!"

So you need to get a gym membership?
I'd recommend LA Fitness.
