Side note here, I just hate the name Peggy.
God, it sounds just like an old Grandma's name which is not what someone so attractive like Haley Atwell deserves. Least sexy name ever.
Could be worse as her name could be Dottie.

Peggy is a nickname for Margaret. It's certainly better than "Marge" which is what her boss calls her in the TV show.
Dottie is the 1950's Black Widow.
Dottie is the 1950's Black Widow.

Sharon isn't any better. Reminds me of one of my chain smoking neighbors from my childhood. Lots of ashtrays on her patio when we would have pool parties there.

Absolutely nothing that happens in IW is affected by these people going back. New universes are created.

Margaret Carter was born in the early 1900s. Peggy would have been appropriate using your logic.
Dorothy/Dottie was the name of the "Black Widow" Peggy tangled with in Agent Carter - there was actually a reference to her in Civil War (the redhead Bucky blew all his money on).

This is the correct answer.

Just got out. Perfect ending IMO but I don’t know where they’ll go from here.
Wish they would have left an opening for Evans to come back. Still, I like it a lot. I don’t know if it’s better than Infinity War but it’s better, to me, than Age of Ultron and Avengers 1.
It was a little slow in the beginning but it evened out. Really my only complaint other than they tied up Banner and Hulk having beef too easily. Time travel was cool and I thought it flowed well between the storylines. Ending was amazing. Best last hour of a superhero movie maybe ever. Again, just IMO.

Professor hulk was horribly done. They opened up a plot line in IW and then five years later professor hulk. What?!?!?

The bitching in this thread is incredible.
Was it perfect? No.
Were there plotholes? Yes - there ALWAYS are with time travel movies.
Did the Russos successfully keep all the balls in the air and make an entertaining movie that was in keeping with the 21 that preceded it and did service to the characters? Absolutely.
The movie was "slow" in the beginning out of necessity. You got the "action" that you could have based on the situation (1st attack on Thanos). Once the stones were gone, there was nothing else that could be done to achieve the desired outcome - reversing the snap.
So, you jump ahead and the opportunity is there now with Scott/Pym particle and Tony.
It took 20 films for the MCU to collect (and for Thanos to get) the stones - yes Thanos essentially collects them in about 24-36 hours in IW. The Avengers did it in one movie, and technically in only a few hours once they undertake the effort, having the advantage of knowing what they were and where/when they were.
I liked how Tony and Cap "went out" and I am not letting Old Steve bother me (you shouldn't either).
Fat Thor was great (except making him too much of a self-doubting pussy)
Cap vs. Cap was hilarious (in fact, the whole Tesseract effort was well done [in 2012 and 1970])
Actually chuckled at the "girl power" moment. I did like Wanda wearing Thanos' arse out.
Captain Marvel was appropriately used and was better in this that her stand alone (interesting that her parts in this were apparently filmed before CM).
Tony's funeral was a nice nod to everyone.
I liked the end credits. Reminded me of the end of Undiscovered Country.

And hulk didn't even get a few shots in against Thanos to redeem himself after that arse whooping he took in the beginning of IW.

Agreed. I get why they did it. They had a ton of movie to cover and so much to wrap up. So it’s sort of ok. I hope there’s consequences to the time travel in future movies. I’m willing to bet there is and I get why they left that part out. They wanted this to be an absolute ending and no thoughts of the future. But I do hope that it’s explored in future movies.
I also see the other side of the argument for people who don’t like Cap going back into the past and not liking Tony dying. I get it. But I feel like for story’s sake it was the right move. It wasn’t what I wanted but exactly what I needed. People will realize that too. I think they could have handled the time travel a little better, BUT, I still liked it and really reinforced those emotional throughlines

Agreed 100% Is it a perfect movie? Hell no. Hardly any of the MCU movies are. But was it a perfect ending/culmination of 22 movies? Absolutely.
There are a few plot holes because of the time travel and the beginning is slow but was totally necessary. Other than that I thought it was a damn fine movie.

It's not that bad. It's actually less than I thought. I assumed people were going to throw a fit about the girl power scene but it seems like it was just laughable to most.

All this time travel talk reminds of this scene from the flash in which Jay Garrick stops the Flash from time traveling and explains to Barry/Flash the consequences of time traveling.
Meaning you could try to fix things, but nothing will ever be truly the same.

So if Spider-Man Far From Home starts immediately after Endgame and there’s supposed to a 5 yr time jump during Endgame, then are we to assume Peter’s entire school got snapped?
Otherwise we’re talking about a bunch of 20 yr olds still in high school.
Just the 4 major characters were snapped. Half their class graduated without them. I don’t find it exactly implausible.

So this is the end of the Original 6 as we know them, right?
Iron Man- dead
Captain America- elderly man
Black Widow- dead
Hawkeye- retired to family
Hulk- now with Bruce's intellect, just a scientist?
Thor- off with the Guardians
Damn, seeing it all written looks depressing. I honestly have no real desire to see Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, new Captain America, Captain Marvel. etc. as the new team. I guess it's good that they ended it here. Nothing like going out on top, I guess. Though I really hoped at the end, when Cap wasn't back, we were going to see him walk up with a different timeline Tony so he could quietly live in retirement with his wife and daughter. But that would have cheapened his sacrifice.
