I think the trailer is very good for not really giving anything away.

Hoping we get a Qui-Gon force ghost in this at some point.

I'm also happy with Darth Maul's story line from Rebels, but have to admit it would be cool to see Ray Park in the costume one more time.

This show would do well to just be total fanservice throughout IMO.

I dont even need fan service. I just need them to get the frick out of Ewan McGregor's way. He was easily the best part of the prequels. And after seeing him in Doctor Sleep...dude is a legit actor who obviously still loves Star Wars and Obi Wan.

All I need is Obi Wan doing Obi Wan things and for a badass Obi Wan and Vader fight. That's it.

People are getting too worked up over this because of how the John Wiiams music pulls at the nostalgic heartstrings of what Stars Wars once menst to so many and how a new property was so anticipated.

I agree with this. The music was by far the best part of this trailer.

The fanbase will now be glad if one of the most important characters in the entire history of Star Wars is on the same level as a no-name, made up character's show that wasn't great, but didn't totally crash and burn like everything else Disney Star Wars has produced in the last decade.

If this comment is about the Mandalorian, then your opinion of what makes a "great show" is highly suspect.

I hope this is good. I really do. But won't be.

The director of the entire miniseries directed some really great episodes of the first season of The Mandalorian. She's also directed a few episodes in some pretty prominent shows. She's got the chops as does McGregor. And the fact she's directing all of the episodes instead of directors being changed every episode like Boba Fett and Mando should help a ton.

You're just one of those that will shite on anything Disney simply because you hate Disney, which is fine, but let's not pretend Mando isn't one of the best Star Wars medias that's come out since the original trilogy and run by two people who fricking love Star Wars.

I agree. I hate what Disney did with the sequel trilogy, but one can't ignore how great some of the other content they've put out has been. Rogue One, The Mandalorian, Season 7 of Clone Wars (the last few episodes in particular), and Rebels.

I really like The Mandalorian.

I also enjoyed The Book of Boba Fett

I’ve been watching the Clone Wars animated series off and on and enjoyed what I’ve seen of it.

I’m looking forward to this one.

I’m convinced some of y’all just love being miserable.

Rogue One

Rewatched this not too long ago and really enjoyed the shite out of it.

The first time I watched it was in the middle of a big binge of all the Star Wars content on Disney+ (except for the sequel trilogy cartoon), and a lot of stuff kind of got lost in the shuffle. I've picked and chose what to rewatch since and Rogue One was really enjoyable.

Considering part of the training he was assigned from Yoda to do on Tatooine is to learn the force ghost ability from Qui Gon, i'd hope it would be a safe bet he is in there. If not, big missed opportunity

Obi-Wan Kenobi Official Trailer #1

I like what I see and hear.

It will be cool to see the inquisitor circular saber blade in "real life."

How far from the Lars homestead are the Jundland Wastes? Kenobi sitting in the rocks watching over them looked a lot closer than we saw in A New Hope.

Interesting to see him still riding the camel type thing.

Liam Neeson has said he’s not appearing in Obi-Wan, but hopefully he was just trying to hide his appearance.

What middle aged white male does she get to blame for her evil?

Well, technically, Darth Vader. He is in charge of the Inquisitorious and responsible for making them as evil as possible. I guess he may not be "middle-aged" by this point, though.
