I’m fine with this list because it leaves off Birdman. That was Whiplash’s Best Picture.

Maybe I'm retarded but did I not see the Prestige listed on there?

In the Mood for Love is good and critics obsess over it but it definitely wouldn't be in my top 10.

It is the most beautifully shot film ever made. It features the best use of pre-recorded music in film history. Two of the best performances ever captured on film.

No hyperbole. It's in my top 10 of all films, not just the century.

biggest FU on that list is Interstellar as 89.

I know it's not a popular opinion here, but I'd say the biggest FU is including Nolan's absolute worst film at all.

97/100 of these movies are at least good, most of them are better than good.

I'd say the only 3 that don't clear that bar are Moonlight, Roma, and Interstellar. A Prophet and Fish Tank are maybe right on the line.

You think interstellar is worse than Tenet?

There's more historically accurate depictions in Empire Strikes Back than TSN.

With Black Panther we have to pretend there was never a black comic book hero before, even though Blade got a trilogy

It’s not about the hero, it’s put on a pedestal bc it depicts the utopia of Wakanda where a country without white people is perfect and more advanced than anything white people can imagine apparently

I do. Though I wouldn't put Tenet anywhere near this list either.

My worthless comments, (I've seen 42 of the movies):

-Melancholia doesn't belong anywhere near this list. Fanwanking Lars Von Trier.
-Bridesmaids at 32?
-Fury Road at #11 is a joke.
-Mulholland Drive at #2 is an even bigger joke. One of Lynch's worst movies.
-Two Adam Sandler movies are in the top 60.

Came here for the Get Out meltdown and the board did not disappoint . I love Get Out.

initial reactions:

-oppenheimer and whiplash are to low
-no training day or ex machina is kinda wild
-glad to see moneyball and inglorious bastards getting love
-Gladiator at #92 is a travesty
-Mad Max at #11 is hilarious. Its a solid action flick but #11 is wild
-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is my biggest top 10 issue. Movie is boring as hell. Never seen Moonlight
-Bridesmaids at #32 almost discredits the whole list. Not saying comedies cant be great movies but really?
