But sure, I'll just trust SouthEasternKige knows the entire story of a three hour movie he hasn't seen that hasn't even come out yet.
You can bitch and complain and post all the youtube videos you want about a countdown trailer getting ratio'd and it matters jack shite Nobody, and I mean nobody, gives two shits about your opinion of this movie. Even people that are waiting until streaming don't care about your opinion of a movie you have no intention of seeing but trying to pass yourself off as knowledgeable about it. Hence all the downvotes.
Hell at least MadKing doesn't pretend to know the story like he's read the script or something like you are. There's a reason everyone makes fun of you on here. You get on the movie/tv board and riot about movies and you don't even watch the movies then try and say other people have weak arguemtns. There can't be a weaker argument than the crap you spill out.

It wasn’t. What that was is people doubting his acting after Brokeback Mountain and the guy from A Knights Tale. This isn’t anywhere near that. Lupita cannot act her way out of being a mid black girl who supposedly is the face that launched 1000 ships. It’s not happening.

It’s going to be a bad movie, that’s not an issue for my opinion, it objectively is already shown itself to be absurdly off track.
And how many times are these Youtubers going to be proven right before you get a clue? The indicators are clear for all to see, and it isn’t a matter of having to see the movie or not. Just like with rings of power,when certain key creative individuals leave the project and are disgusted , that tells people who know Tolkien everything they need to know . Same goes for here.. Nolan is using an absurd, feminist translation of Homer’s work. It’s not the Odyssey.

It’s going to take a lot of praise for me to see this movie. I hate woke bullshite and having a black 40+ woman as Helen of Troy is deliberately stupid. Elliot Page being in it is stupid too, even if she/he isn’t playing Achilles after all.

It just premiered in india and the Indian press is loving it. Seems like Nolan has a winner here. I'm very curious to see how this performs in Asia. It needs solid numbers there to get anywhere near a billion.

Yes. This could sound dumb being delivered by Tom Holland. Yes, this choice is faithful to the text, as Homer did not write The Odyssey with 1950s educated English accents in mind.
