It would be awesome to dress up and penny wise and just be standing with a balloon under a light in the parking lot after the premier

Man, the whole clown thing last year freaked me the frick out. Someone in the town I lived in before got chased by a clown on a running trail that was dragging a pipe.

The lady said she was running and a clown was just standing at the end of this turn not moving then just started chasing her arse dragging the pipe. She said she out ran him, but frick man, I am not wishing to see clowns under a street light

probably my favorite horror trailer since Stranger's, though that didn't turn out as promising as I hoped

Is this going to be a two parter?

Everything seems to be just the childhood part of the story.

Which will lead to a freaky kind of ending.

Yes, no adults in this one. That's being saved for part 2.

I am a huge pussy when it comes to horror films and this looks terrifying. But I still might have to watch in theaters

Looks good so far, may be relying on too many jump scares. If the movie isn't at least 3 hours long it still wont do the book justice.

I really like what I've seen of it so far but I'm mildly put off that I don't think we've seen any of the other forms of IT. I know the clown is used a lot and they want people to associate the movie with the clown...but it can take other forms.

Hollywood needs to take notes from this one. They have nailed every aspect of this movie from trailers, to marketing, to hype. Of course everyone will be in the theater for the clown that's a given, but the little things they have done have been amazing. The simple red balloon floating by the warner brothers logo was awesome. If you look closely when Pennywise starts to run after Richie you can see a replica doll that looks like Tim Curry's version of IT again freaking awesome. Not letting him speak but two lines in all three trailers and even then he whispers doesn't really talk I love that save the suspense for the theater. The constant "you'll float too" being repeated by Georgie was probably my favorite part of the trailer. With the younger crowd what gets them excited about a horror film? Jump scares so I dont mind all the jump scares in the trailers it's what will sell with the younger crowd that does not know the actual story of IT. Yet they are still giving us little flashes of what the kids will come across when IT changes forms and shapes. I am so hyped for this movie I can not wait for September!!!!

I know they cast someone as the leper.

The only negative I've seen so far is the weird phasing that pennywise does.

Also, this movie has to be successful to get that sequel.
