Having engulfed this book as a HS senior in the late 80s, I remember thinking before the mini series aired, that there was no way tv could do it justice. And I was right. Except for Curry. Not gonna critique all his acting jobs, but Pennywise was all that series had. Really looking forward to this and hoping it is awesome. I hope someone eventually does The Stand.

MM has said he wants to play Randal Flagg in the stand. That's how he ended up in dark tower.

There is supposed to be a whole Stephen King-iverse starting, which I think is amazing, with the Dark Tower at the middle since it is what holds up all universes.
In one of the trailers for The Dark Tower, Cujo is just strolling down a street in NYC. Can't remember if it is in The Dark Tower trailer or IT, but there is a picture on a mantel of the hotel from The Shining... Bunch of easter eggs.

That's what I'm worried about - will it just be a horror movie about an evil clown? (could still be good entertainment, but not a true representation of what the book was about, particularly since I'm reading that the adults aren't even in the movie....)

I'm not liking the Pennywise's makeup. That goofy line from the corners of the mouth continuing through the eyes looks stupid.
I'll still watch the movie, I REALLY liked the book. Also, got a bit freaked out when reading Tommyknockers and there was a Pennywise siting.
Everything else in the previews looks promising. I'm just not digging the makeup.

Agree on the makeup, seems like they are trying too hard to make a "creepy clown".
