New Terminator trailer confirms SPOILERS - James Cameron was never on set

Again, Im gonna post the leaks, so if you don't wanna see them, don't read this

Sarah's lines (among other things) in this confirm the leaks
>John is dead, killed by Arnold's T800 (Hence, when this all over Im going to kill you and her trying to shoot him when he opens the door)
>Arnold after killing John was left to wander and develops a conscious and decides to help in the fight against the new Skynet
> Judgement day was stopped by John, Sarah, and Arnie in T2 but the military developed a new AI called LEGION that causes a new judgement day (hence you stopped judgement day but didn't change our fate)
>Sarah is a terminator hunter who receives coordinates from Arnold for new terminators appearing in the world
>Latino girl is the new sarah, and is supposed to give birth to the new John Connor (hence "I was her" in the trailer)
>Latino girl's protector is an augmented human
Weirdest leak Ive seen though
>Sarah and the others are able to find Arnold via coordinates on the augmented protector's stomach
Evidently one of the people who worked on genesis (Producer David Ellison) has contributed ideas to this movie (hence an again aged Arnold Terminator, nu-Skynet, etc) and it was his idea to restart from post T2
‘Terminator: Dark Fate’: James Cameron On Rewired Franchise, Possible New Trilogy
To top it all off, James Cameron was NEVER on the set. Oh, and hes distancing himself from it, saying that its Tim Miller's movie.

Some people have been under the impression that Cameron would be more of a "hands on" producer for this one since his name is attached. I am simply trying to show that this was not the case. And, a terminator movie with no Cameron tends to be lower quality

Not really surprised. This is like the 4th time in a row they have killed the franchise.

Because he talked shite about the other ones, even though for Genysis he at least like it at first.

I was really excited for this one, too. I just knew they would get it right, this time.
Oh well. Maybe they can’t fix the Terminator franchise. At least we can look forward to the next Jurassic Park movie.

It's hilarious that the The Sarah Conner Chronicles was killed off in part b/c they didn't want it to detract from the movies yet it continues to be better than every single film they have made since T2.

This does not sound good. Terminator should have been dead unless Cameron wanted to come back and direct. They just keep spitting out garbage.

I said right away the movie is not a sequel. It's another sad attempt at a reboot.
The last Terminator movie completed bombed in the US but was saved by the Chinese box office (they love Arnold) but this should be the final nail in the franchise, at least for a few decades.

So after T2 & before T3 or any other sequel the machines/AI send an older series T800 to kill John?
I get how they may have thought the familiarity would be an advantage, but why not make a newer series shapeshift into Arnold or just be made to look like the 101 Arnold.
I guess if T2 still delays judgement day and a new skynet emerges then sends this Arnold back that this could be first version new skynet has to send back.
I was looking forward to this when I heard Cameron was involved, but more and more I thinking I will wait until it’s on HBO or whatever and then probably enjoy a little having less expectations with it being something that i watch as part of a subscription that I also get other stuff to watch for same price.
