On the Shoulders of Giants is a new documentary about the "greatest basketball team you never heard of".
The early days of pro basketball. About a team called the Harlem Rens, an all black basketball team that played together before the NBA let blacks into the NBA. Was part of the Harlem renaissance. Link to Abdul Jabbar's website

Said it will be up on 5/19/11.

I highly suggest "The Street Stops Here". A documentary featuring Bob Hurley's 2007-2008 St. Anthony Friars HS basketball team...set against the backdrop of difficult playing conditions, rough home life, and a dire financial situation at the school.
