Yeah I don't like how they put all the season together... it is easier to scroll but the other day I added a few TV shows thinking they had more than the season I watched.... they didn't have them on instant yet only DVD format

Twilight Zone (original series) is now on instant stream.

I've been waiting for this one for a while. Now they just need to add Seinfeld

SIAP, haven't read through this thread, but gotta recommend Cyborg 2. Can't speak to the quality of the film/story but it does feature an 18 year old Angelina Jolie, and she goes topless somewhere around 20 minutes before the end.

semi review: IMDB

Stander-True story of a South African policeman turned bank robber

Had not seen this movie in over 10 years.

Forgot Thomas Jane played Stander.

Also remembered he had a fine wife but forgot it was Debra Unger.

Parts of this fast-passed docudrama seems pretty far-fetched. Makes you wonder how much liberty was taken with the facts of the actual robberies.

The lengths that he and his crew went to to pull off their heists was incredible.

Jane is an intelligent police captain who is a very tough guy.

David O'hara, the proud Irishman from Braveheart, plays the real bad arse of the gang.

Dexter Fletcher plays kind of a Steve Buscemi frick up that is the third member of the gang.

If you really like slightly dated crime dramas, this is in your wheelhouse.

Anyone else seen it?

Is this worth it's own post?

Well most policeman on that continent are already criminals anyway so it couldn't be that much of a career change.

But I like Heists so I think I'm gonna have to check this out.

This is definitely a go to thread. I can't see how it wouldn't be constantly used.

Really?

The movie didn't seem to display that

This summarizes every bank robbery in the movie: They dress up in disguises and pull a gun on the teller and tell them to throw a bunch of money in a bag and then they run off.

Forgive me if I didn't think that this was a great heist movie. I know it's a true story so I wasn't expecting any sort of Ocean's 11 type shite but it didn't seem very entertaining to me from that standpoint.

Decent enough movie though.

I guess I should have included their getaways.
The whole Stander look alike was what I was thinking about.
