How was she able to list the Florida area code on the phone when the girl was on vacation in Florida?
She used a call masking app. I believe that the article posted earlier explained the picture, but I haven’t read that in detail yet.

I haven't watched this yet but I assume women, cell phones, social media ruined today's society.

I don't understand how she didn't get in more trouble for the sexually explicit texts she was sending to TWO minors. How is that not a crime????
Bc she’s a woman. Were it a man this would have had a whole different vibe. You also wouldn’t have had the producer coaxing the man into another explanation for his behavior like they did Kendra by rerouting it to “was it bc of past trauma???”
Sick work right there.

Wow. Great recommendation.
Holy shite she was crazy. I feel for her Husband. Poor guy trying to do the right thing while getting stabbed in the back. But how did he not realize she wasn't working. Where's the money?
I am admittedly an a-hole and realist. So why didn't they change numbers at least once? Protecting the kids should be the first priority.
Also the daughter is mentally fried. Woe is the man that tries have anything serious with her.

Why did they deal with these country bumpkin cops for so long? I said from day one go to the FBI. They can get that call data in less than a week.
So sad. I just can’t believe they let it go on for so long without trying to find out who it was

People wonder about the sentence. The FBI turned it all back over to the local jurisdiction.
My theory is the local authorities didn’t really give a crap and thought it was overblown. Look how long they drug it out.

They touched on this.
1.) The texter was clearly close enough that it was assumed they would just immediately find the new number
2.) They were concerned this person was so close to their family and they had no idea who it was. They didn't want to change numbers and risk losing track of this person. I get that. If it were my family I would struggle knowing they were close enough to know the things they knew and me not know who they were.

And once they caught the guilty party, you’re never going to believe who it was.

Didn't read the spoilers. Heard some female coworkers today talking about how great it is. Is it worth a watch?

Dad the real victim in all this.
Dude going to work day after day doing a job he hates to support a wife and kid, and this bitch at home unemployed pulling this shite.
Didn’t pay the goddamn storage unit bill and all the dudes stuff got sold on storage wars.

The Dad should haves realized what was going on. He was kind of an absentee father and husband.

What I couldn’t believe is, she claimed to have two jobs and hadn’t worked it either in over a year and nobody could tell with their finances?
The dad, I do feel bad for, but he’s a simp
I’m not an OT baller, if I lost my job 18 months ago, my wife would notice

I get this somewhat, but it just seemed absolutely stupid to let the kids keep their phones and be subjected to this for so long. I would have taken the phone myself and kept it and responded like i was my son to continue the charade in hopes of finding who it was, but i 100% would have given my son a new phone, and if this lunatic got the new number, then i would have simply told him you don't get a phone anymore.
The parents allowing the kid to continue to respond to this crazy bitch is just moronic.

I work for one of the big 3 wireless companies. We have a whole department just for this kind of stuff. Thats the first call I make is to the FBI

Yep. Same. Would have been pretty easy to figure out who was sending the messages to the new number if you just limit who you give the number too.

I found it interesting that they used different interviews with her. For the most part, they filmed her when she was wearing that pink outfit and that’s when she seemed the most scarred. My wife and I both said she looked like she wasn’t even there, just this dead look in her eyes, saying she still wanted to be with her mom. fricking unbelievably sad.
But towards the end they show a different interview with her where her hair is different and she seems at least a year older and a little less keen on “rebuilding” that relationship with her mom. It’s a very good thing they are being kept apart.
This is the same doc crew that did the doc on The Biggest Loser but I wasn’t a fan of how they handled this one. I almost wish the mom was left out of it completely. Like another poster said, now that she’s had therapy and people tell her she can blame it on her trauma now she feels like everything was justified and it seemed like the director kind of lapped it up vs coming after her a bit for the insanely narcissistic piece of shite that she is

Yeah I felt bad for him at first but if he had paid any kind of attention at all he would have noticed pretty much everything
Dude didn’t want to notice it, bottom line.
