Isn't it a parody? The title certainly suggest so.

I think it is supposed to be parody. There are really funny outrageous scenes. Like the scene where she

(SPOILERS)

gives the markers to the girl and gets no credit and they bypass it with the quickness is fricking absurd and hilarious.

I was watching it with my wife, and I think it falls flat. Because it sure seems like it is supposed to be a parody, but with it being a series it feels like the runtime gets you actually invested in the story and then the over the top acting in pursuit of parody just seems like bad acting.

It's not well put together across the board. Great idea, bad execution.

That ending, lol. So many plot holes/improbabilities. Was worth a Sunday binge with wifey.

this is the weirdest shite i’ve ever watched. i get that it’s supposed to be a parody but it really feels serious, whereas something like the scary movie series is blatant with the satire.

SPOILERS

from the take your daughter to work day (prison) where she’s killed and eaten by a serial killer, to the male stripper forcing himself inside her house and threatening to kill her daughter if she says anything to the police while holding a knife towards her, and then after the police leave the house he telling her he’d never hurt her daughter and then they have sex or when you find out her ex husband is also her therapist, and in the same scene find out the random handyman that never seems to leave killed his whole family and was still hired to fix their mailbox

actually fricking hilarious when you connect all the dumb shite but a strange watch nonetheless if you just turn it on randomly one night. should have known by the title right off the bat, but i’m curious to see how the last couple episodes play out

Ok, watched and was like WTF? Read it’s supposed to be a parody of the movie Woman in the Window with Amy Adams. Explains why I didn’t get the jokes and over the top stuff.
The whole time watching I keep saying to myself, how long is it going to take this guy to fix a damn mailbox?

Trying not to leave any spoilers.

Was good up until we found out who the killer was. I thought it was the person they want you to think right before they reveal it.

What's the whole 2A seat thing ?

I didn't see the movie it's a parody of .

I was fine with the completely deadpan absurdity of it all, and the ending was ridiculous but had me laughing.

The problem is less about who the killer was , than the story-telling itself. When the killer in a murder mystery is revealed, you're supposed to think "of course!" as the early clues for the viewer are recapped, but that doesn't happen here. A bad flaw in the writing, unless there actually were some clues, that I missed.

This is a legit thriller? I assumed based on the stupid long title that it was a spoof of "Rear Window" and other similar thrillers.

Yea we never got a clue at all who it was, which makes the show miss the mark.

It was trying to be a spoof but also took itself too seriously at times and didn’t know what it was supposed to be.

I finished it up last night. I enjoyed the WTF ending; it fit in with the deadpan nature of the show. The last two episodes didn’t really pack as much satire in service of the actual plot; that is my main complaint
