I do love the elimination shows though...I just watch the last two minutes.

I think this just locked up the season for Cole.

Meh night overall. Nobody really stood out IMO.
It really was. I hope Blake doesn't give Cole another song like Rich Girl. Though he was safe, he needs songs that showcase him. That one didn't. It was good, but not great.

One of the worst songs to crawl out of the primordial goo known as the 80's.
I thought it was the best group performance of the season if that means anything.

I did rewind and watch More than Words just now, and it was okay. I'd have liked it more if they knew the words to the fricking song.
I think they messed up at least three times.

I don't know. I wish that was the case. Interestingly, though, he's at 99 on the itunes top 100. Even more interesting is that Matthew remains in the 30's with Hallelujah. He's never dropped out. No one else in the top 100 at all.

Nobody wants to buy very average song covers? I'm shocked.

Um, what? Cole was the highest this week on iTunes.
As of now, Tessanne is still the highest with Redemption Song at #19, Cole with Rich Girl next at #21, and then Jacquie at #25 with Cry Baby, and then Cole again at #32 with Better Man. Will has both his at 35/37. Tessanne's other is at #43.

Jacquie is the only one that I think has a chance but she's kind of getting old. I she's not belting something out she's just an ok singer. Will is good but not great. Same with James. Tessanne has Jamaica voting for her but she ain't winning the finale. Really it comes down to Cole and Jacquie and I think Cole is the clear favorite.

I must have looked in the wrong place, then. I was looking here.

Hmmm...I thought that was odd.

I think Jacquie is a much better singer than CTina allows her to be. She's had some performances that I loved early on.
I don't think you can rule out Tessanne.
I wish that wasn't the case, though.

Yeah I think the website is only updated once a day.
I use the actual iTunes program, it's pretty well instantly updated.

Jacquie
Is incredibly accomplished for her age.

Will is good but not great.
The guy needs to learn to smile and rent a personality from somewhere . . . STAT.
quote:
James
Has had the most unique and diverse performances.
quote:
Tessanne
Strong, albeit sort of traditional, voice. Great cover of "Many Rivers to Cross".

Cole
I like him. Talented with a personality.

O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas song and I just did not like their arrangement that much. Maybe it would have helped if the background singers weren't drowning out SIX people.

The backround singers have been a problem lately.

I don't enjoy the tone of her voice. She hasn't changed it or done anything to change my mind.
I agree with this. I just really don't like her singing. Like I said in another post, she sounds like a Latin artist trying to sing English songs.
Cole continues to be my horse in this race. Blake has coached him to be a lovable little fella' and I am starting to wonder if this is his best trait as a coach. The people who has won for him have been very likable with good voices.
Will and James won't last long without developing some type of sense of humor or a personality at all. They both seem to never smile or have fun with it.
JL is good and very talented, but like has been said, she does a lot of screaming. Ctina singing with Great Big World makes you remember that when she reels it in some, she is one of the best in the world and she needs to teach that to JL.

I think Jacquie would have done better with Blake as a coach. She'd have done more singing and less screaming (but that's just a guess).

I agree with you, Darla.

I haven't even started the elimination show, but I didn't notice anyone posting who is out?
