Overall, I liked the film and had a great time. I thought it was far superior to JPIII, although admittedly, I still like The Lost World a little more.

I did not like the excessive use of CGI, nor did I like the "newly designed" T-Rex. I thought the 1993 rex was far more convincing, scary and realistic. I thought the film really lacked suspense (it was really lacking that Spielberg touch that the first two had). I did not like the music at all. It was too blatantly cheesy for the most part and it felt out of place in many scenes (hey, it's hard for anyone to top John Williams though). The story could have been better, but hey, I appreciate it for what it is because it could have been a lot worse (see JPIII).

But it erased the bad taste that JPIII left in my mouth and I had a lot of fun seeing this and I definitely plan on seeing it in theaters again. I'd give it 2 1/2 out of 4 stars.

Well that would make a lot of sense, but make for a boring movie.

The T-Rex is out. Kill it.

The raptors are out. Ok, blow em up.

roll credits.

I blame the trailers. By the time they were all out I think we could all get an idea of what all the twists were going to be.

That's the problem with all of these complaints.

Every time I see "iRex," I keep thinking the corporate sponsor was Apple instead of Verizon.

I thought the movie was pretty solid. Although the part that confused me was when Claire goes to get the TRex, it's like right around the corner from where all the gift shops and restaurants were. Did they seriously keep the TRex that close to where the people were?

Why not? The park was much safer up until the point the I Rex got out.

Took my son to see it and we loved it for what it is was meant to be...an entertaining movie!

The questions I have, now that the park will abandoned, what will happen with the Mosasaurus? A creature that large will need to eat a lot...now with the park being closed down, and unless some other unsuspecting dinos happen to wonder too close to the lake, he/she wont be able to eat regularly...the IRex will only hold if over for so long.

One concern, a Mosasaurus was about 50 foot long in real life. The one in the movie seemed to be about 100 foot long considering the Great White they fed it in the first part of the movie was about 15-18 foot long to scale.

If you think about it, the I Rex only got out because the fat security guard opened the gate. If that never would have happened, Jurassic World may still be running smoothly.

If you don't feel like getting any work done today, the Jurassic Park subreddit has all sorts of discussions on things like that. Also, there are funny gifs like this one celebrating the enormous amount of money the movie made

I still have no idea how Chris Pratt went from being the fat funny side character on Parks and Recreation to the biggest movie star right now

I really like him, but he has fricking exploded the last 2 years

They were enhancing the Dino DNA, "more teeth", "cooler"... not a stretch for them to figure out a way to make the Mosasaurus bigger.

Yeah, I like how they added that in, like for instance why the dinosaurs wouldn't have feathers.

Which leads me to believe a sequel may yet have another dinosaur park because this might be classified as a "freak" occurrence.

InGen probably had people on the ground as the last people were being evacuated.
