Curious how old you are, how often you actually go out and engage in entertainment options in your area? Because again, that's cheap compared to a concert, going out for dinner and drinks, etc.
Imjustafatpussy is a broke little bitch. He whines about costs on the gaming board as well.
In addition to bitching about costs because he is broke, the rest of his time
Here is spent trying to yell at everyone else who has the money to enjoy things without crying about it

Am I not still allowed to spend my money on entertainment the way that I want? I know choice and freedoms are really complicated topics for dudes like you.

The movie was shot with an IMAX camera and everyone in the world knows it’s the suggested way to view. Do you live under a rock?
So everyone in the world should know it's going to look and sound like shite on anything but IMAX?
You are at least saying it will be substandard viewed any other way.
Good to know.

Did you enjoy the Previews ? or Advertisements before the film?

I worked in a movie theater. Never get the "butter". That shite is nasty. That machine is most likely not cleaned on a regular basis either.

I eat buttered, she doesnt.
I thought the whole point of the excursion (rather than watching it at home somehow) was that she wanted "fresh, buttered popcorn."
Your story is shite.

Studios take 75% of the box office and theatre workers only get the remaining 25% so I am completely fine at the prices of concessions because that's pretty much how the workers get paid.

Nah, it's a little down the first page:

The wife wanted to see it at movies and eat fresh buttered popcorn.

So were the refreshments $30.00 or $40.00?
Exactly. He’s full of shite and just wanted to dear diary his shitty night.
Wife and I got tickets for the new Spider Man on Saturday for $22. We will split a large drink, popcorn and candy combo which will be about $22. So all in all we’re out $45 and some change. If you can’t afford a $45 trip to the movies then you need to sort out some life priorities. Involving kids, obviously, is totally different and much pricier but you’re gonna spend nearly the same amount taking them out to eat at a decent restaurant yet I don’t see folks bitching about restaurant prices…
OP is full of shite or just a retard that can’t budget correctly

I don't understand how theaters are still in business. For 10 trips at $65 a pop, you can buy a 75 inch TV with a somewhat decent sound bar and watch in the comfort of your living room.
Oh, well they aren't. One close to me closed last year.
I had to go to a different city to see something only playing at AMC theaters.

If I go to the Odessey tonight my ticket alone will cost me $21.44.
I think you are full of shite.

Maybe you live in a high cost area. I also don’t need to see shite in IMAX or Dolby every time I go

No imax theater near me. I would have to drive to another city for that, raising the cost.
Maybe your post was just you being a fricking a-hole? If I take your wife to the move the tickets alone are $45 dollars.

this is the biggest grip about movies these days.
30 minutes of previews is outragous

I've said it before but my Cinemark membership is the best deal out there.
$8 a month and you get one free ticket. If you don't use it they roll over. 20% off concessions and you get points for tickets/concessions.
I had numerous tickets built up so Me, the Mrs,, my brother and dad's ticket were free ($32 for four months of membership) and at the concessions i still had left over movie tickets and they give you $12 off concessions if you want to use a movie ticket as concessions credit. So they are giving you more credit on concession than you're paying per month for the membership.
I think I'd cancel my Netflix before I cancelled my Cinemark membership and I barely use it. It always ends up worth it.

Nah you’re just being a little bitch. I’ll post a screenshot later to show it was $23. I was a dollar off.
If you wanna bitch about movie ticket then don’t go you fricking poor. I’m sure your ole lady would rather be with a real man anyway

I used to love the 30 minutes of previews but once you could access them all on YouTube it became an irrelevant feature for me at the movies
