Road House.
Junior high Dalton - already a badass - brought in to juvenile detention center in the ozarks to set straight bad arse little kids.
“School House” or maybe “Detention With Dalton”
Pain don’t hurt. Not even way back when.

I saw a discussion before about a prequel to the Karate Kid. I don't recall if this was something actually in the works or not. Anyway, a story about Mr. Miyagi would be pretty damn interesting. Training with his father...the trouble with Sato...leaving for America...the internment camp...receiving the Medal of Honor...ending up working as a handyman in some dumpy apartments in Reseda. A lot of material to work with.

Star wars. Would like to see what happens after Return of the Jedi. Hopefully a studio picks up the rights and does it.

I'd definitely watch a Doc Holliday-centric prequel to Tombstone, but they'll never find anyone close to portraying him at or near his age during the movie as Val Kilmer.

This is my answer for sequel.
I'd like to see a prequel to Taken. How did he gain those skills? Could be fun in a Bourne/Bond sort of way.

A sequel to Reservoir Dogs.
Steve Buscemi gets away with all the loot, but all these years later he's running out of money and has to get back in the game. This time he's putting together the crew and running the show.
Or.. he eventually does get busted and is now an informant, and he's the mole in the next heist.

These probably fall into the category of reboots than sequels due to the age but I'll chime in with a few Sci-Fi oldies:
Buck Rodgers
Logans Run

With Maverick kicking arse, Hot Shots! Is prime for another sequel. If charlie sheen could hold it down, there’s tons of material to work with.
Team America seems like an easy sequel to pull off
White Men Can’t Jump should have a sequel, rather than the reboot
I like the idea thrown out in the thread of a MIB/21 jump street crossover
TV, but Mulder and Scully still need to visit and investigate Sunnydale (Buffy)

I'm not sure what it would be like but i finally watched this for the first time and wanna see more edward Norton in that role
one of my favorite actors but it would be a challenge now. He has aged out of that role unless you would make him a Lecter type. Even then it would probably spend most of the time doing throwbacks to his younger self that would have to be a different acter.

Not a huge fan. I know others are. I would not touch it. Like I said, I am not a huge fan but it was lightning in bottle for most folks. I was taught early in life that you don't fck around with lightning.

A movie would be OK, but I'd rather a series frm Sling Blade about Doyle.
From the SB thread:
Would anyone else want to watch ir?
From the SB thread:

Wouldn't a series about Doyle be a hit. Wonder if he's ever been asked to reprise the role and would he considered it?
Billy Bob could be in or out of it. He could direct. Lucas Black could be Frank as a deadbeat, still living at home or the new sheriff, who Doyle doesn't get to play cards with, but he visits Frank's house every week during the guys that do get invited's game. Natalie Canerday, the mom, could probably use the work and the check.
No J.T. Walsh or John Ritter, but others can be found for those roles. Ritter's role might not go well in 2023 anyway. but Morris and Terrance are both still living. Tthe band can still be part of it.
Would anyone else want to watch ir?
