why would you walk out on a movie at all? if you pay to see it why not watch it through?

I will show my age here, but I walked out on Grease. I watched District 9 last night and would have walked out on it if I would have been in a theatre.

If you ask politely for the manager and ask for your money back, they will usually give you passes to a different movie. As long as you're nice, you can "return" your purchase.

I bought that movie bc it looked cute and the fiance and I both fell asleep the first time we watched it. I thought that was unusual, so I tried again and fell asleep.

then I tried AGAIN last week and fell asleep.

Notting Hill I would have walked out on, but the people I was with didn't want to leave and I kept waiting for it to get better.

Thin Red Line

8 Heads in a Duffel Bag

Both were completely unbearable. I couldn't even nap through them.

God, that movie was just too stupid to bear. When it got to the part about "the loom of fate," it was time to get going.

"Check please!"
