To Live and Die in LA deserves special mention because it happens so unexpectedly and, how shall we say it, definitively? It's also not a noble death.

Also,

Steven Segall in Executive Action, LOL. My wife was convinced he was going to come back at the end and save the day. She couldn't believe they'd stunt cast that death.

That’s how I see it, too. The first time we watched it my wife thought Angier was the protagonist and Borden was the antagonist. I just wonder how many people see it that way.

Borden’s lone true “bad” act was moving the pad from under the stage. Angier shot the dude and framed him for murder.

I can’t believe it made it 2 pages before I got called out. I don’t troll often but 3 pages in it seemed like a nice spot.

I had to really think through some movies for bait.

Shawshank may have been pushing it.

Really Endgame, I figured maybe you’d make some stupid “Thanos was right” argument but it’s set up as a classic hero/villain story

Law Abiding Citizen I could see and maybe Heat since both could be argued as antagonist to the other

I wondered if someone would mention this

the title also refers to Michael

Wayne is not shown being killed; his fate is uncertain. TSC is never included on the list of films in which Wayne dies

Per Wiki:
quote:

A recent discovery of the film's script suggests an alternative ending in which Kirchner drowns and Erlich [Wayne] and Elsa are rescued only to be thrown overboard on Napier’s orders after he discovers that Elsa has been unfaithful to him with Erlich

Tying an unbreakable knot wasn’t good.
You could say there was two antagonists in the movie and one protagonist revealed in the finale.
