Forrest Gump has a few moments. When he’s talking to Jenny by her grave and when he finds out little Forrest is his and asks Jenny is he smart or like him

Since I’ve had kids Father of the Bride fricks me up now. Especially when he’s laying in bed the night before the wedding thinking about her as a baby all the way to the current day

About time

The walk on the beach scene. Full on ugly cry for your boy here

The entire film is a setup for that scene (and the, "We're kind of hitting you over the head with this message to live every moment like it is your last"), it was relatively easy to see coming, and it still hits like a truck.

That's good work, right there. (I mean, the Field of Dreams scene is the same thing and well done, but not set up like About Time, IMHO.)

Hardball.

Found out my wife had no clue what this movie was the other day. Boy did she hate me when it got to that scene which I did not tell her about.

I remember watching Home Alone on video rental or on HBO or something (didn't see it in the theaters) when I was 26-27 yrs. old and nothing got to me. But the end part with the old man and his family reuniting got me all teared up.

Few years later, watching "Seinfeld" and caught this:

Laughed and felt better about myself knowing I wasn't the only one.

50/50 right before JGL’s surgery

Ending of Click is brutal as well, especially as I get older and seeing my parents get older

Not a movie but kind of in my opinion: the last 15 or so minutes of Haunting of Hill House absolutely destroys me every single time.

Watching LSU win the Natty in baseball did that to me this year. My dad died two weeks before his 94th birthday on March 10th this year. All I could think about was how much fun we had watching the 2023 Natty and most of the others, together.

He, and my mom, were at my condo in Dallas for the Warren Morris HR. I freaked out early in the day when my cable went out.We talked about going to a sports bar if it stayed out.

I was lucky to be in Ruston helping my mom take care of him for the 2023 Natty. He had a couple of stokes and needed me.

The only one we didn't see together was 2009. My parents were in Ohmaha watching them beat Texas. I was watching on TV in Dallas. They had asked me to go with them, but I was too busy.

Said by no one who had ever thrown a baseball throughout history prior to this movie. That line irks me so much

But despite really not liking that line, still a good movie.

I'm a bit of a softy these days, especially after losing a few loved ones, it doesn't take a whole lot for me to get dust in my eyes.
