My 13 year old boy loved Lost. Don't know how a girl would like it though.

Go full 80s...

The Neverending Story

The Dark Crystal

The Goonies

Or

Go full 90s...

Friends

Anything with Julia Roberts from that decade

Most anything with Tom Hanks from about 89-98

Watch Grisham adaptations... The Firm, A Time to Kill., etc.

Hell, watch Clueless or even Mean Girls or 10 things I hate about you.. 13 Going on 30, Legally Blonde, Man if the House (I would recommend both of them, but the TLJ Texas cheerleader one is probably more for a 14 yr old girl.), Stick It, etc.

Go bizarre... Death Becomes Her, Capt'n Ron, etc.

Veronica Mars seems like a show a teen girl would like but plays well to adults too. It’s on Hulu. Along the same lines, what about Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

1. Mean Girls
2. Clueless
3. Heathers
4. Carnival Row (it’s a series on Prime. Video...you’ll probably have to FFWD through a few sex scenes)
5. The Golden Child

If she's a wordly teenager like my kids, My Name is Earl.

Perfect representation of everything you don't want your kids to be, and you can laugh at your derelict neighbors just like you do everyday.

Been a big hit with my kids, but then again, my neighbors are Chalmetians, so take that into account.
