the original howling got me. i dont think i could even read yet and somehow convinced my parents to let me watch it. had to sleep in their room for a while

Critters fricked me up when I was a kid... I remember I would wake up in the middle of the night to piss and I'd look under my bed then jump out and haul arse to the bathroom. I'd piss and then haul arse back to the bedroom and fly the last 5 feet through the air into bed.
I was scared one of those little bastards would be rolling after me.

I remember being freaked out the first time I saw the Thriller video as a kid. Like I was crying-scared.

When I was young they made me watch this at summer camp. I couldn't keep thinking this bastard was going to get me while I was asleep.

believe it or not, the scariest thing i saw as a kid was the micheal jackson "thriller" video. i was really young and it gave me nightmares for a few days.

Also, on Vincent Price's laugh...on one of Michael Jackson's greatest hits albums, it has the original recording of VP's "rap" during Thriller. Even has the second verse (which didn't make it into the song). And the laugh is actually a little longer than what was in the original song. And after he laughs, he says "That was great funnn.." It's pretty cool. Also cool hearing he and MJ introduce it at the beginning of the clip. His voice is so menacing, and MJ sounds like an infant girl.

Child's Play - frick Chuckie. I never looked at my toys the same way after that movie.
