Hoosiers - the scene where Dennis Hopper is in the hospital listening intensely to the radio, suffering through a close game, and celebrating when the victory is secured.

I haven't been in the hospital doing it, but, boy, do I identify with that scene!

I had to come back and add the scene in Christmas Story when Ralphie has pretty much given up on getting his BB gun but his dad points to the unseen gift in the corner. The look on that kid's eyes when he once again has faith that "Santa" brought him the gun tears me up.

Wizard of Oz when Dorothy says goodbye to The Scarecrow.

Old Yeller - when they had to put Old Yeller down.

Shawshank Redemption - very last scene when Red surprises Andy on beach.

Saving Private Ryan - opening scene and very last scene in cemetary

My Dog Skip - when camera pans in close to Skip as his master drives off on bus...

And not a movie scene but the end of the episode Jurassic Bark in Futurama

Godammit. First time I watched this episode I was sobbing like a bitch. Glad nobody was home to watch that ugly display.

I cried like a baby at the end of Battleship when the dumbass aliens lost. If they had called and beamed me over to Hawaii I would have helped them kill the worst cast of actors ever put together for a shitty movie.

The Sound of Music - Maria and the Captain dance the Laendler

This is the most tender and touching moment I have ever seen in a movie. I cry EVERY time I see it.

All of "What Dreams May Come" is pretty tough...I believe the whole beginning is just brutal doe.
This one rips me apart, watching everything the wife goes through.
Beautiful movie, can handle it about once a decade or so.

There are 3 scenes in "Good Will Hunting" that get me every time I watch - and I've seen that movie countless times. Every freaking time, all 3 scenes.
"Perks of Being a Wallflower" - the scene near the end of the movie gets me repeatedly as well.

As crazy as it sounds, Up was probably the first and only movie. I was over at a friend's house who put it on for his kid. I was intrigued up until that scene where the old guy's wife died. It hit me where it hurt as my grandmother was in Hospice dying (first close loss I've ever experienced) and I simply couldn't take it. Never finished the movie and still to this day, don't have a desire to.

Yep.
"Tell me I am a good man. Tell me I've led a good life."

And the beginning where he just collapses at the grave.

2. Funeral scene of What Dreams May Come.

3. Forrest Gump meets son, and the end of movie.

4. "Wanna have a catch?"

5. Green Mile. "Please Boss, I'm afraid of the dark. Don't put me in the dark." Then "I'm sorry for what I am." Hanks character and Brutal (the badass) crying.
