Lucilla: Is Rome worth one good man's life? We believed it once. Make us believe it again. He was a soldier of Rome. Honor him.

A comment about IOnlyPostPictures in another thread today led me here.
I hope the past few years have been good to you and that you find another great woman when the time is right.

I was a new father and the scene in Big Daddy got me..
Eyes got watery when the kid is being taken away by child services..
"But I wipe my own arse!"
So funny of a line.. but so sad to me

Dont know why but the last pass with the flashbacks of events earlier in the movie of We are Marshall gets me everytime.
Yondu dying in Guardians 2 was pretty tough as well. "He may have been your father boy, but he wasnt your daddy. I'm damn proud youre my boy."
And yeah, Mufasa

Got teary eyed at the end of "The Notebook".
And the end of "American Sniper" with the video of the funeral procession for Chris Kyle.
Yes and Shenandoah at the end when Boy comes back.

For some reason, The curious case of Benjamin Button,
when is goes back to a baby at the end.
Also anything to do with kids getting hurt or dad moments. I'm a wuss, with 2 young boys.
Disclaimer. Before kids I could give a shite, after kids let the tears roll

I watched Glory again the other day, and that last 15-20 minute battle scene was a thing of beauty and sadness. From the "give em hell 54th" to the graveyard scene was truly a work of art that give me chills every single viewing.

I'll add to a recent movie: Dunkirk when home comes to them.

Eh.
Big fan of Branagh.
Even liked his take of Jack Ryan with Pine.
His eyes welling didn't strike a cord with me however.

"Oh Jeff!"
When Saunders screamed that from the gallery when Sen. Smith was reading the telegrams in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
End of Saving Private Ryan wrecks me as well.
And I cried like a bitch watching E.T. in the theater.

2 from my childhood I haven't seen mentioned yet.
Benji - he gets kicked and booted across a room. Tore my lil 5 year old arse up.
Rocky 3 - When Mickey dies.
Pretty much all the others get me as well. Just wanted to throw out a couple more.

Been rewatching the west wing before bed lately and while there's a few solid choices throughout the series, recently watched the episodes about the assassination attempt. When Donna finds out Josh has been shot...

"Hey dad. Wanna have a catch?"
Every. Damn. Time.
The first 20 mins of Up had me balling and completely ruined the enjoyment of a pretty good movie.
