Overall I liked the movie and thought it was a decent watch.

My point is you criticized the movie bc you didn’t think it was realistic. Your negative points were things such as Nikki wears to much makeup, the movie showed too much drugs and rock n roll, Vince saw Christmas lights, etc.
All things things happened in real life. You are shitting on a movie for showing things that happened in real life and blaming your disdain on the fact that it’s not entertaining to you.
That was the story of Motley Crue and if you read the book or knew the history of the band you would not have made those comments about the movie. You would have realized the movie wasn’t shite, your interest in the movie was shite.
Therefore, your comments are not valid based on your opinion.

Mars was a raging alcoholic bc of his bone disease.
Vince was responsible for killing someone driving drunk which was the reason the band split up. And he watched his daughter die of cancer.
Tommy Lee did marry Heather Locklear despite being a band nerd raised in suburbia.
All things things happened. This wasn’t a fairy tale. This was real life.

I watched it. It was pretty good, but I never read the book. A friend of mine, who read the book, said it was not nearly as good as the book, but it was about what he expected, based on the trailer.

When Netflix announced that they were going to start producing their own movies, this is the type of movie I had in mind. A made for TV movie with tits and cussing.
